Our Weekend in Memphis

We headed to Memphis, TN for the weekend of Carlie's Spring Celebration. She wanted us to come,  we were not formally invited so we got a room at the next door hotel and I was able to be there to take pictures and to be close in case she needed me! That was her idea, not mine!! I will post later on Spring Celebration and the drama surrounding it, but for now, here are a few pictures: We had to eat at Joe's Crab Shack while Carlie was out with her friends.     My love   He loves him some crab!   In the mall....Makena wouldn't ride!   Makena and Trey trying out the beds in Sears.   After we picked Carlie up, we went to Bass Pro   It is pretty neat inside.   Trey had to try his hand at "shooting"   Carl and Makena were checking out new bows.   Carl and the kids on top of the pyramid.   Me and my babies.   Much Love, Beth

Fun Stuff!!

The top thing on this post should be the fact that Carlie Erin passed her drivers test :) We are both super excited and VERY relieved. We have also been enjoying a little yard baseball. Trey is getting much better at catching and Makena is getting better at batting. Carlie likes to pitch but likes to tan more than anything! We still have three of the puppies, which we have casually named "The Three Stooges"! We are getting ready to wrap Discovery up soon. Trey and Blaine get along fairly well. Trey takes up for him when others make fun of him for being different. It makes me very proud. We have also been working on planting flowers and making things look a little nicer around here. Another big thing that happened was that Trey got allergy and asthma tested. He is allergic to dust and dust mites! I have to wash his sheets in hot water every week, we bought an air purifier, he had to put the majority of his stuffed animals away....he isn't supposed to be around cleani

#AYC 2016

Carl and I along with a few other sponsors and our Pastor took our youth group to the Arkansas Youth Conference in Little Rock. It was a fun weekend filled with lots of memories. We had a girl that went with us (she just started coming to Discovery on Wednesday nights) accept Jesus as her Savior! That was definitely a highlight!!  This was the first year for Trey to go and the first year for Carlie to go and stay the night. Of course Makena was there...she LOVES AYC! We ate at the Flying Fish before the conference started. Carlie noticed that left her purse at the restaurant about 2 hours later and so Carl and I went back to get it. We heard an awesome message that night and the music was pretty good too. I will admit that I had to keep earplugs in...does that officially make me old?! Here are a few pictures from our trip: Makena, Megan and Olivia at Flying Fish before the conference started.   Trey with a statue that he thought was cool!   We were ready for some
