The Bright Eyed Brunette

Today was such a beautiful day!  We decided that we would take the kids out to the farm and do a little fishing.  Trey and Carlie are still not 100% but sometimes I think that sometimes you just need a little fresh air!  We only stayed out there for around an hour or so because I had to run into town to pick up a cake that my friend Jill made for a wedding shower.  It was lots of fun and we know that we won't get too many more days like this because before long Carl will be in the fields working, so we were taking advantage of it! Trey wanted to bring Oscar too! Some like to fish IN a boat, however we like to fish ON a boat! Carlie is a very serious fisher Carl got one T got one too!  Well, Carl might have caught it, but T reeled it in :) Makena decided that if she couldn't catch a fish, at least she could catch a tan! Happy Wednesday, Loves!  Here's what I'm loving today: I'm pretty much loving this forcast...even though there is a chance of rain, these temperatures remind me that Spring (and then SUMMER)is just right around the corner.  I cannot wait!! I'm also loving this from Pinterest We're all special to our Mamas! I'm really loving this book on the Book of Ruth.  I am doing this with our Ladies Bible Study at church.  It is a great study and I would highly recommend it! I am SO loving that I finally got an new phone!!  It is a Samsung Infuse 4G and most everybody that I've talked to that have switched from the iPhone to this one, have liked it better.  LOVE IT!! Tonight was Senior Night at our school.  The whole school participated and got to play in the blue/white game.  All the girls teams split into two teams (one blue/one white) as did the boys.  Keep in mind that this was for ages K-12 which made it a really special event.  Carlie and Makena got on the same team and they weren't on Pop and Bro. Jeff's team :(  I got several pictures and I stole a few from Mom (you earned your Super Nanny status back!).  But before all of that, we had a pizza party at Pizza Hut for the Pee Wee girls team.  Carlie and Samantha were ready to get the party started! My poor sick Carlie.  She was determined to go to the party and play in the game.  Separating teams Makena and Carlie (#40 and #15) were working hard. What a day!  Today we loaded up our many Valentine's and headed off to school.  And we had SO many.....280 to be exact!  All four of us brought for the whole school, K-12.  We had a school-wide Valentine Party at 9:30 and then lunch was at 11:30.  I don't think many of the kids were hungry at all.  They had a super fun day and got lots of goodies.
