Weekend Rewind

Happy Monday, friends! We have had a fun weekend here on the homestead.  Makena was home, Carl got off early on Saturday, and we were able to spend time with Carlie, Caleb, and Wrenley!  We also had a nice, relaxing Sunday. We had a bonfire in our back pasture on Friday night.  I was determined to try and get a picture of Boone dressed as a ghost and well, this is how it went: This one was not Boone's fault, Carl put his whole head through the nose hole! He was not a fan...this looks like he is melting. I pretty much gave up after this one.  Maybe I will try again before Halloween. Boone sure loves it when Makena is home. Makena Faith and Trey before church on Sunday morning. They still have to humor me and take a picture sometimes. Little Sweetie found a nice spot to rest. We had a great weekend and were blessed to be able to spend it with our family. Much Love, Beth

The day before Carlie got sick, my grandpa (Papa) tested positive for the virus.  They came out for Trey's birthday party and took Wrenley over to meet him the day before he tested positive, so we are pretty sure that is where they got it from.  Thankfully, Carlie and Caleb recovered well.  Papa, however did not.  He took a nasty fall one night and ended up in the hospital right after Trey's birthday.   He was diag
