What Little Boys Are Made Of

Shooting BB Guns off the FRONT porch!! Riding 4-wheelers And getting them stuck! Daddy to the rescue Trey loved every minute of this..... That's what little boys are made of :)

Just Chillin'

Since it's been so warm the past couple of days, we have been trying to get outside as much as possible. Carlie always enjoys riding Trey on the 4-wheeler Makena stopped to pose with Happy This was this morning before we went outside.. Trey had to have pancakes and white grape juice for breakfast! And last but not least, I had to show off Trey's train set and table.  He's had a train set for a few years now, but decided that he needed a new one and a table.   Carl built the table allby himself!!  I was so proud of it, and I thought it deserved  a space on the blog :)

Merry Christmas

Makena with her friendship bracelet kit Carlie has wanted a wig forever and I just thought it was ridiculous, but while Carl and I were shopping at Toys R Us I spotted this Hannah Montana wig and knew she would LOVE it, and she did :) Trey with his trash truck Moxie Teen! Carlie got a Fashion Babyz DS game. They also got a new basketball goal and balls We were playing in the dark because we had to be at Nanny's early.  For the past couple of years my Mom has hid these ZuZu pets at her house before the kids got there and then let them have a "mouse hunt".  They love it and it is a little pre-present activity. Eli and Trey playing with their ZuZu pets Ellie Kate and Carlie Trey got a new digital camera and has been snapping pictures left and right.  I'll have to make a post of just his pictures....should be pretty interesting. Carlie was SO thrilled about her new microscope. She has been looking at everything she can think of underneath it, even blood..she pi

Over The River and Through The Woods

Over the River and through the woods to Nana's house we go! Makena got this cute little blanket (unicorn) from Leslie Trey was wrapped in his giraffe blanket sitting on his best friends, Uncle John, lap. Jeannie and Carl Carlie was having a hard time keeping Jude in her lap. Our first stop on this Christmas Eve was at Nana and Papaw T.R.'s house in Wynne.  We had a really good time visiting with everyone, opening presents, and eating some really good turkey.  I'm not a big dressing eater, but everyone said it was the best ever.  Nobody left hungry :)  Yes, that is another picture you see up there of Trey with Uncle John.  He LOVES him.  I'm talking, he hardly left John's side or lap the whole afternoon :)  They make all kinds of crazy plans and Trey is already asking when he can go stay the night!!  I know he wouldn't stay by himself, but we might plan a trip to visit before Christmas break is over. We ended up staying there for about 3 or 4 hours before w

Follow The Star!

Makena, the Chief Priest, with Anthony who played King Herod Carlie played Mary Trey was also a Chief Priest and he said his parts very well.  I was proud of him. Makena singing her solo.  I did get it on video, but my Internet has been acting up, so if I get a chance I will put it up later. Robert, who played Joseph (I know, a red-headed Joseph!!), Carlie, and Cash (young Jesus) Carlie and Bonnie were getting ready to sing their duet. On Sunday night we had our church Christmas program which was titled, "Follow The Star".  It was your typical Christmas only this was told by the Wise Men.  We were kind of in a panic at first because one of our Wise Men (played by a girl) had car trouble coming in from LR but finally made it after we stalled for about 15minutes!  I was getting a little nervous because I was going to have to fill in for her!  I didn't really know the songs or the part, so I was really glad to see her walk in the door! Other than that, the program went

Garrett Christmas

Last night we went to DeWitt to my Papaw's for Christmas with my Dad's side of the family.  We had lots of laughs, good food, and of course gifts for the kids.  The adults played Dirty Santa and  I was the good wife and got Carl what he wanted because I was lucky #1!  He ended up with two really nice gifts, but I didn't really care.  Dirty Santa is my least favorite thing about Christmas.  It's just not fun to me.  I don't enjoy taking gifts away from people or ending up with the gift that nobody else wants!  The kids got movies, toys, money, and they each got a subscription to a magazine, which might not have thrilled them at the time, but I know they will enjoy it throughout the year.  I wasn't a very good photographer last night and didn't get very many pictures, but here are the few that I did get. Makena was hiding behind her DS Chowing down! Trey, Austin, and Derek...what did we do before DS's? We got Austin a tabletop foosball game and let me

Salvation is Here!!

This was taken Friday night at the girls school Christmas Program.  I loved this song the most because it has such a great message.  Anyway, this video is for you, Mrs. Carolyn :) Carlie took a minute to pose with Grammy and Papa Carlie, Trey, and Makena before the program started The girls singing in the choir
