Ready, Set, Let's Roll!

Makena did it!! She passed the written part of her driver's test. She really hasn't been interested until recently and she was super proud when she passed. Thankfully the lady that gave Carlie her road test retired over the summer and the new one is very nice. She has been driving all over town since she passed on Monday. We are proud of our girl!! Much Love, Beth

Battle of ARCO 2017

It's been a couple of years since we attended a Ricebird football game and this year my niece, Ellie Kate was cheering at the game so we decided to go show our support...because let's face it, I sure could have cared less to see the birds play or to socialize! Carl got to come (at half time) and we ended up having a really good time as a family. Miss Ellie Kate He was making his way through the crowds Trey, Noah, and Eli wentnout on the field to form the spirit line My Dad...I sure do love him ❤❤ Me and Miss Makena Faith The Ricebirds whooped the Dragons and remain the kings of the county!! Much Love, Beth

Happy 12th Birthday, Trey Landon!

Happy Birthday to one of the most fun-loving kids I know. You have grown up way too much over the past year. You love playing out in your treehouse, riding the 4wheeler, deer and duck hunting, playing video games, and your new phone. We had a Razorback tailgating birthday party at our house the day before your birthday. On your actual birthday it rained most of the day, so we went to get McDonald's for breakfast and you and Daddy went to get pizza for dinner. We had a lot of cupcakes and some ice cream, so we had that also. I had the awesomly bright idea to drag out the old video camera (the one with tapes) and watch old family videos. It made me miss having babies😣😣 Here's to another great year, T-Man!! We love you! Much Love, Beth

Woo Pig Sooie!

The day that Makena had been waiting on finally arrived....it was game day for the Razorbacks! We played Florida A&M in Little Rock and it was on the SEC Network. This meant a little less to me than it did to her😊 The weather was pretty if-y up until Wednesday night, which coupled with this being on a Thursday, kept some people away. Carl had never been to a game and it had been years since I had been to one. We made our way to our gate just in time for the team and Coach B to make their entrance. I think Makena recorded the whole thing. She was so pumped about it all! My trio, ready to cheer on the Hogs! Me and Carl Me with the kids Trey and Makena stood most of the game You can't see it well, but we made our first touchdown! We won the game 49-7. I would have been fine leaving at 3rd quarter but Makena was not having any of that!! It was a late, but fun night! Now we can officially say that Makena's birthday is over 😊
