Carl's Deer

OK, so what kind of wife would I be if I didn't at least post a picture of my WONDERFUL husband with his two deer? He asked me the other day if i ever put pictures of him on here! Poor baby, I guess he was feeling a little neglected, so this one's for you Carl:) Really, though, I am proud of him for getting a 7pt. and an 8pt.:)

Happy Birthday T!

Trey was trying to show me his 4 fingers and eat his ice cream at the same time! He was pretty happy about having everyone sing to HIM:) Trey even got a REAL fireman hat from his friend Luke Opening Candy Land--what kid doesn't love that game?! Trey got a little (unwanted) help from cousin Noah! I can't believe it's already been 4 years! Where does the time go? It seems like it was only yesterday that we found out that we were going to get our baby boy, and now he's already 4!! He is getting so big too. It seems like it took a lot longer with him, or maybe it is just because I held on to my "baby" harder than the girls, but I never thought that he would become so independent:) Boys are SO different than girls. Trey broke us in real good on that one. I distinctly remember that first diaper change at our house when he christened the blinds by the changing table! Man, I wasn't ready for that one, of course the girls just died laughing! BOYS!! Anyway, eno

Where Has My Little Dog Gone?

My little dog:) I haven't been a good blogger lately, but I've been busy. Not anything exciting, just stuff. Yesterday I subbed at Carlie and Makena's school--not all day, just for a couple of hours while their teacher went to a meeting. The kids were very good. It's not too hard since they do their lessons on video. I just have to make sure that they are on the right video and not doing their seat work while they are watching. Now, back to my title--Trey has really been on this dog kick again. He LOVES to watch 101 Dalmatians and it just so happens that we have a Dalmatian dog costume. He has worn it almost continuously over the past three days. So, the only pictures I have for today are of Trey being a dog--my Quicktime Player is messed up on my computer so I can't download the video of him singing "Oh Where Oh Where Has My Little Dog Gone", but it was so cute. That is now his favorite song:) Maybe I'll get some pictures of the girls sometime during

Conversations With A 3 1/2 Year Old

I still don't have a lot to blog about, but here is a funny conversation that took place in our house between Carl and Trey. Carl had just walked in from work: Carl: "Trey, did you get a new truck today" Trey: "Um Huh" Carl: "When did you get that?" Trey: "At Wal-Mart" Carl: "No, not where did you get it, but when did you get it?" Trey: (and I wish you could have see the look on his face) "Today at Wal-Mart, duh !" I about died. How did he get such an attitude you might ask--remember, he has two older sisters! He picks up all kind of stuff from them. I am NOT taking credit for any of that:) The other night Carl had left to go to Men's Fellowship at our church. Trey realized this about 30 minutes after he left because he was in the tub(a well designed plan!), and this was our conversation while I was getting him dressed: Trey: "Where's Daddy at?" Me: "He went to the church for a men's mee
