Where Has My Little Dog Gone?

My little dog:)

I haven't been a good blogger lately, but I've been busy. Not anything exciting, just stuff. Yesterday I subbed at Carlie and Makena's school--not all day, just for a couple of hours while their teacher went to a meeting. The kids were very good. It's not too hard since they do their lessons on video. I just have to make sure that they are on the right video and not doing their seat work while they are watching. Now, back to my title--Trey has really been on this dog kick again. He LOVES to watch 101 Dalmatians and it just so happens that we have a Dalmatian dog costume. He has worn it almost continuously over the past three days. So, the only pictures I have for today are of Trey being a dog--my Quicktime Player is messed up on my computer so I can't download the video of him singing "Oh Where Oh Where Has My Little Dog Gone", but it was so cute. That is now his favorite song:) Maybe I'll get some pictures of the girls sometime during the week since it's supposed to be pretty outside!
Here are a pair of flip-flops that Mom and I made the other day. This picture doesn't really do them justice, because they are really cute in person!

I usually just go look at yours through Laura's, but anyway......talk with ya later! :)

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends! Today I'm linking up with  Andrea  and  Erika  for another Friday favorites. And here they are in no particular order: Last week our preacher told us that he had a surprise for us next week.  I had honestly forgotten about it until Carl mentioned at lunch on Sunday.  Trey said he knew what it was, but he wasn't telling.  It still didn't occur to me what it could be until we arrived at church on Sunday night, and I saw that Trey had a notebook along with his Bible sitting next to him on our pew.  It was him. Trey was the surprise.  He gave a short devotion before our Business Meeting.  He did well, considering it was his first time.  He said the congregation was a lot scarier when you are the one being stared at! This is a big deal because about 7 months ago he realized that he needed Jesus as his Savior.  And that came after about 7 months of me worrying about him, while he was trying to stretch hi...

Friday Favorites

It's been a hot minute since I've linked up with  Andrea  and  Erika  for a Friday Favorites! This is me trying to get back into my blogging groove :) I came across this little dress last year when we moved, and I knew it would be fit Wrenley this summer! It was Makena's circa 2004.  I just love it when a plan comes together.  A favorite for sure! Look at those babies. Twenty years has flown by. Miss Wrenley Beth. She doesn't look a thing like her momma, but definitely has Aunt Makena's sass! Hopefully as her hair grows, she will get Carlie's curls. We have been doing as much outdoor activities as possible.  That includes one of my favorite things...fishing! Carl, showing off his big bass. We weren't technically bass fishing, but whatever bites. It'll eat! Of course we have also been going to the river.  Our kids weren't able to go with us, so we just took the jet ski.   It has been raining so the water is a gross brown. I didn't s...
