Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends!  Today I am linking up with  Andrea  and  Erika  for another Friday Favorites. I have so many favorites to write about but for today I will choose five. Four of the seven of us. This was before church on Christmas day.   These people are always my favorites. Snowy nights in the hot tub with my hottie is also a favorite. And by snowy, I mean the four flakes that southeast Arkansas received. Man was it cold though! This little bald-headed girl is my favorite 4 month old! She has her BeBe wrapped around her little finger. I am thoroughly enjoying watching her two days a week. Having this college girl home is definitely a favorite! She started working at a local museum over Christmas break, so she has still been gone but we have had a good time doing all the face masks and girly things we can.  She just finished her hardest semester to date and she rocked it with all A's and 1B.  I am proud of her and all of the hard work she does.  The way he is so sweet with h

Christmas 2022

Well, that escalated quickly!  How in the world did the month of December come and go so fast?!  We had a great Christmas here on the homestead.  Here are a few of the pictures I got (and I didn't get many at all!) Our first stop on the Christmas line-up was at Carl's mom and step-dad's house.  They live about an hour and a half away.  These are the only two pictures I took.   Carl and his Mom Trey and Makena with Nana  I spent the majority of our time there playing with the little kids.  The mom just seemed a little overwhelmed and tired, so I thought maybe I could help.  I guess the spirit of Christmas just got ahold of me :) After we left there we made the trek back home just in time to get in our jammies for Christmas at my Grammy's house.  You may remember that Grammy has dementia and stays in her jammies 85% of the time, so we thought we would just join her!  She got a kick out of everyone being in their jammies and seemed to enjoy watching other open gifts (espec

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

At the beginning of December Carl and I were asked if we wanted to put our neighbors old Army Jeep in the Christmas Parade.  We thought, hey why not.  It could be fun, right?  Well it was fun but I dreaded it all day long (my anxiety always does this to me).  It had been raining all day long.  Thankfully it wasn't cold just damp and foggy.   Fixing her up.. Nobody got good pictures and I left my phone in Carl's truck so I didn't get any :( BeBe and Pappy in the Jeep Trey hung out with Carlie, Caleb, and Wrenley and watched us.  We invited him but he thought he was too cool for us. After the parade we went to Carlie's and ate pizza! Wrenley had fun at her first parade. Makena missed out on all of the fun because it was a Monday night and was still at school.  Speaking of school, she was inducted into Phi Alpha Theta!  I am super proud of her and all of her hard work. Carlie and I took Wrenley to the bank to get her picture taken with Santa.   When Makena came home, we d
