Pictures From Carlie's Baptism

Here she is waiting for Bro. Jeff to change so she could be baptized. About to be dunked! All wet, and all smiles :) My really bad picture of her being presented with her new Bible.

We Made It!!

Anna Grace and Makena Faith! Anna Grace, Emily, Makena, and Piper practicing for the closing program Carlie and Megan My mom found those hair piece clips in a boutique in Stuttgart and decided to get them for the girls... I could have done without them! Mrs. Kathy was doing balloon dogs as an evangelism tool.  It was really cool and the kids LOVED the dogs--especially the little ones. This is completely random....but my grandmother called the other day and said that when she went out to the hen house they found 5 baby chickens, and the kids just had to go down and see them.  One of them ended up dieing, but the others are doing great.  The kids got to name them too :) Two goofy goobers!!  Teens....you gotta love them! Whew....as much fun as this week was, I am thrilled to death that it's over!  Most of these pictures are from  Wednesday and Thursday because I forgot my camera last night.  I don't know what I was thinking!!  Yesterday the kids and I had a road trip to Litt

I'm A Soul Survivor!

Classic Trey Makena and Emily Carlie during crafts Trey in the boat Hadlee and Lola Kate Maxee drawing on the boat! All my little pirates!  We were singing The Scallywags Tale by Live Fish....they LOVED it :)  I love the freedom that comes with music! The theme for our Vacation Bible School this year is Soul Survivor on Danger Island.  In the rural area in which we live, we never know quite how many people are going to show up but they always seem to come out.  We had 43 kids and 23 adults tonight and there is potential for more tomorrow night!  My music went fine tonight.  My time was cut a little short since we were running about 10 minutes behind, but the kids all seemed to participate and have a great time!

This And That

Grammy and Trey Maxee, Trey, and Carlie were tired of swimming and decided to draw. Carl and Makena at El Canaveral Carl had his mouth full :) Makena, being silly. Last Thursday Carl brought this home to "try out". It's all he's talked about ever since! My Sweet Carlie Trey, Ernie, and Carlie on the way home from Nana and Papaw T.R.'s house Wow, I can't believe it has been so long since I last posted!  I hate having to play catch up, but here it goes.. I'll start on June 10Th.  This is the day that Carlie accepted Jesus as her Savior!  I'd say that would be the most important and life changing news.  I've stated many times on here about her being under conviction and that I have prayed everyday that she would quit fighting it, and it happened--FINALLY--at a VBS meeting of all places!!  I was so relieved and I know she was too.  Her baptism is set for June 27Th.  We have been spending most days just trying to keep cool.  We had a little bit of

Best Friends

On the Firetrucks.... Riding Bikes..... On the swing.... These two little guys are so much fun to watch.  Trey is so excited that Noah and Eli got to come stay with my mom while Jamie, Cody, and Ellie Kate are at church camp.  We don't get to see them as much as we'd like since they live in Morrilton, but Noah calls and talks to Trey all the time :)    He came and spent the morning with us today while my mom got Eli to sleep and they had a blast playing together.  I asked Trey who his best friend was and he said, "Noah, DUH!!"!  Almost five and already an attitude :)

More Pool Pics!!
