Merry Christmas Day!

We wrapped up our Christmas festivities with opening gifts here at our house with all of the kids and then going to my parent's house to have lunch with my grandparents. One of my favorite parts of Christmas morning is getting all of the gifts separated and making sure things are "set up" for the kids to come in and open gifts. Boone had to get some lovin first! Trey got some hot nuts in his stocking...if you have teenage boys you know😐 I love to see his smile. He loved his Hey Dude shoes. And her smile! Makena was happy about her voice recorder. Carlie Erin with her new shirt. Carlie and Caleb opening gifts Trey got a kayak, which worked out great because it was, after all 72 degrees! He even when fishing and caught a couple. My kiddos Mr. and Mrs. Claus delivered a special package for two very special people. This is my parent's Christmas tree out in their garage (where we had a couple of our family Christmases). When we went over for lunch, Carl and I surprised t

Church Christmas Program

On Sunday our church kids presented our church Christmas Program, "How Far Is it to Bethlehem?" with Makena as the director.  The cast did a wonderful job! It was a lot less chaotic than it has been in the past with the main focus being on the actual program as opposed to the tots making up the manger scene. While are parts are important, the message is of utmost importance.  I am very proud of Trey also.  He played one of the main parts along with our pastor's son, Michael.  Here are a few of the pictures I was able to snap: Trey played a character named Josiah Michael (Amos) and Trey (Josiah) Liam (Matthew) and Chloe (Hannah) Serenity (Mary) and Ryker (a stray sheep) Ryker, Serenity, and Genesis (an angel) Liam gave Makena flowers for being such an amazing director. Cousins! Maxee Parker, Trey Landon, and Noah David Merry Christmas friends! It was a great night to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior. Much Love, Beth

Grinchmas Party #1

We began our Christmas festivities with the Garrett family Grinchmas! My parents hosted this year and and my mom was very insistent on a "Grinch" theme (because it perfectly describes my dad's side of the family!). Not everyone was able to attend but we still had a good time. Makena, Ellie Kate, and Carlie. My parent's three granddaughters. Aunt Shelia wanted to take a picture with the girls too! The kids except Noah...he was hiding in between Trey and Eli Some of the adults Saran ball for the win! Makena's pretty cake. It was equally as yummy! He surprised her with a kiss. This picture is super special to me.  💓💓💓 My Christmas Cowboy! Good food. Good family. Good times! Much Love, Beth
