Merry Christmas Day!

We wrapped up our Christmas festivities with opening gifts here at our house with all of the kids and then going to my parent's house to have lunch with my grandparents.

One of my favorite parts of Christmas morning is getting all of the gifts separated and making sure things are "set up" for the kids to come in and open gifts.

Boone had to get some lovin first!

Trey got some hot nuts in his stocking...if you have teenage boys you know😐

I love to see his smile.
He loved his Hey Dude shoes.

And her smile!
Makena was happy about her voice recorder.

Carlie Erin with her new shirt.

Carlie and Caleb opening gifts

Trey got a kayak, which worked out great because it was, after all 72 degrees!

He even when fishing and caught a couple.

My kiddos

Mr. and Mrs. Claus delivered a special package for two very special people.
This is my parent's Christmas tree out in their garage (where we had a couple of our family Christmases). When we went over for lunch, Carl and I surprised them with a Blackstone griddle.
My mom has been watching TikTok videos about them for months. They deserved it!

Grammy, Papa, and my mom

Some of the other crew!

We way too much again today. It was great (my dad fixed the ham again) and I did over eat a tad!

Trey was pooped and stuffed so he found a nice sunny spot to rest.

Merry Christmas from Boone!

Merry Christmas from the Munger Family!
We had a pretty quiet, laid-back day and it was very welcomed!

Much Love,
Beth

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends! Today I'm linking up with  Andrea  and  Erika  for another Friday favorites. And here they are in no particular order: Last week our preacher told us that he had a surprise for us next week.  I had honestly forgotten about it until Carl mentioned at lunch on Sunday.  Trey said he knew what it was, but he wasn't telling.  It still didn't occur to me what it could be until we arrived at church on Sunday night, and I saw that Trey had a notebook along with his Bible sitting next to him on our pew.  It was him. Trey was the surprise.  He gave a short devotion before our Business Meeting.  He did well, considering it was his first time.  He said the congregation was a lot scarier when you are the one being stared at! This is a big deal because about 7 months ago he realized that he needed Jesus as his Savior.  And that came after about 7 months of me worrying about him, while he was trying to stretch hi...

Friday Favorites

It's been a hot minute since I've linked up with  Andrea  and  Erika  for a Friday Favorites! This is me trying to get back into my blogging groove :) I came across this little dress last year when we moved, and I knew it would be fit Wrenley this summer! It was Makena's circa 2004.  I just love it when a plan comes together.  A favorite for sure! Look at those babies. Twenty years has flown by. Miss Wrenley Beth. She doesn't look a thing like her momma, but definitely has Aunt Makena's sass! Hopefully as her hair grows, she will get Carlie's curls. We have been doing as much outdoor activities as possible.  That includes one of my favorite things...fishing! Carl, showing off his big bass. We weren't technically bass fishing, but whatever bites. It'll eat! Of course we have also been going to the river.  Our kids weren't able to go with us, so we just took the jet ski.   It has been raining so the water is a gross brown. I didn't s...
