More Fall Fun!

Things have suddenly gotten super busy around here. Carl has been working late with soybean harvest, basketball practice is in full swing, piano lessons, 9 week exams, church activities....it's been a LOT! Last Friday night we finally decided to carve our pumpkins after Carl got in from work. Carl always helps them get started! Getting rid of the "pumpkin guts" Always knew that electric knife would come in handy! Drawing his face Ta Da! The weather was nice and cool, but due to the burn ban, we weren't able to have a bonfire. We did cheat and have a small fire in the pit of Carl's smoker :) Have I ever told you that Carlie is our group - activity leader? Well, she attempts to plan out our vacation every year; where we go, when we go,etc. Well, she had an idea to do fall pictures. She picked out her clothes and Trey's. Makena decided that if she had to take pictures (which she hates), she was at least going to wear what she picked! Here

Pumpkin Patch Fun!

Makena and her friend Maddox I love that these girls are beautiful inside and out! Trey was thrilled that Carl got to go with us today! Carl was his buddy :) The trio: Maddox, Trey Mc, and Makena Faith These kids right here have been through a lot together. Three of them have been together since Kindergarten. They haven't always been best friends, but now they are. I do love small schools! Carl sent me this selfie of him and Trey on the hayride. We split into groups for part of the time. Makena, picking a little cotton. My Children of the Corn! Trey and some of his friends. Trey, in the sunflowers Trey Landon We had a fun day at Peeble's Farms Pumpkin Patch with our school! I don't think I have ever been so dirty in my life! Due to the lack of rain, it was extremely dusty out there! So exited to get our pumpkins Much Love Beth

Life Is a Highway

We headed to Hot Springs on Saturday to go to Eli's 7th birthday party. It was a lot of fun, but my girls are finding it more and more boring going to little kid parties....I guess it's just the age. On our way! Poor Kena was half sick, but still had a smile on her face! Noah sliding down the bouncy house slide Elijah Makena Ellie Kate Trey Landon Opening presents Every kid loves singing cards! Happy 7th Birthday, Elijah!! And many more! We stopped by Bass Pro on our way back home. And then when we were almost back to Stuttgart, my mom called and said that Jamie and Ellie Kate were in a bad accident. Praise the Lord they both made it and are sore, but okay. I held my emotions in until I went to bed that night. I kept seeing the awful picture of that car. It makes you realize how fast a life can be taken away. Overall, it was a pretty good weekend. Makena missed church Sunday and school on Monday, but I took her to the doctor and she got a sho

This and That

Trey made a hundred on his Spelling test (which he has been struggling with) so Nanny brought him lunch and gave him $50! Carlie and Nate. He is in Kindergarten and is love with Carlie! Makena Faith is set to be our school mascot, Mustang Sally! I have to say that I have become so attached to this guinea pig! We are loving this season!! Those are just a few of the random things going on around here lately. Much Love Beth
