Christmas in Wynne

We celebrated Christmas with Carl's family the week after Christmas.  There are so many families, it was just impossible to get together before hand.  It was great to see everyone.  We his nephews twin boys for the first time!  Some were still unable to attend but we are glad we got to see the ones who were there. It's not easy getting toddlers to cooperate with your photos! And by toddlers, I mean Wrenley :) These are all the great grandchildren except 2. Makena found a twin and almost wouldn't give him back :) She loves all babies though! Wrenley had a ball with the other kids Riley and Wrenley Carl with his sisters and mom Merry Christmas to all!  We are officially done with Christmas :)  After a month, it's a welcoming sight! Now bring on the new year!! Much Love, Beth

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

For the first time in years, we didn't have anywhere to go on Christmas Eve. We went to church and that was it (other than a last-minute trip to Walmart...10/10 would NOT recommend). There is always something special about a Christmas Eve service.   Wrenley and her BFF, Adalee She was being a silly goose  And then we ended up in the nursery! She was having fun :) In case you didn't notice, I didn't take any pictures of my family, but only Wrenley.  My time management skills were lacking that morning, so we were rushed and it was rainy, so our hair was messy.  It was just better to have Wren as our subject. They went to Caleb's parents after church, so that was the only time I got to see her that day. Christmas Morning Merry Christmas, Munger Family! Carlie, Caleb and Wrenley came out around 8 and we had a big pancake breakfast.  Poor Carlie and Caleb were both feeling pretty rotten, but thankfully Wrenley was feeling great! Testing out her new chair. Bathroom crayons p

O, Christmas Tree!: Christmas With Grammy

A few days before Christmas, Carl and I ventured out to get a Christmas tree for my Grammy's Christmas.  We were having it out in my parents' garage.  We were told to get a tree that was at least 8ft. tall.  Ours ended up being about 12 ft.  :)  It didn't look that big when we cut it! This was my first experience with a real tree.  Trey is pretty allergic to lots of outdoor allergens, so we always have an artificial tree. Channeling my inner Clark Griswold! Next, we had the task of decorating it..which wasn't the easiest thing to do. We enlisted the help of my mom, dad, and Makena for this part. She's a beaut! Me and my girls Trey and Wrenley My kids and Wrenley with Grammy. She was so happy with her gigantic tree :) Another family Christmas down, two more to go (and one of those is next weekend). We are blessed beyond measure to have Grammy with us.  She has always been a huge part of my life and the lives of my kids, and now Wrenley knows exactly who Grammy is.  I

It's Christmas, Man!

I'm not sure if anyone will actually get the reference from my title, but it is from Alvin and the Chipmunks (the first one and Simon says it). That was always one of Trey's favorite movies, and I'm pretty sure I have seen it enough times to have the whole thing memorized! Carlie asked me to go to Wrenley's Christmas party at school because it fell on a Thursday and they had lots of surgeries that day.  I didn't mind because I got to see her interact with other children. Party food is her love language :) She was having a great time. But didn't let me out of her sight, and yes, I did take her home after the party :) And of course, she wanted to ride the Ranger with Pappy Christmas was a little different this year for a couple of different reasons.  One being that Christmas Eve was on a Sunday and the second one being that my sister's kids had to be at their dad's early on Christmas Eve.  That was fine, it just had our typical days all changed around. A Miracle on Mainstreet

This year our church Christmas Program was titled "A Miracle on Mainstreet".  This is the first year that I haven't had one of my own children in the program.  Trey was dead-set against participating this year, and some things aren't worth the fight.  He did help me and Carl with the set building. Makena is the main tech girl.  She handled all of it! I was extremely worried about her having too much stuff on her plate (right in the middle of finals) but she did great and wasn't too stressed out!   Makena and our other student helper, Anna Grace. Grammy and Trey Bless her heart, I can just tell by looking at her that she has dementia. It breaks my heart because she is slowly just fading out.   I am thankful that she has gotten to spend as much time with Wrenley as she has. A few of the kiddos And a little angel Speaking of angels, Wrenley was supposed to be an angel.  First, she refused to wear her wings, then she refused to even get close to the manger! She prote
