O, Christmas Tree!: Christmas With Grammy

A few days before Christmas, Carl and I ventured out to get a Christmas tree for my Grammy's Christmas.  We were having it out in my parents' garage.  We were told to get a tree that was at least 8ft. tall.  Ours ended up being about 12 ft.  :)  It didn't look that big when we cut it!
This was my first experience with a real tree.  Trey is pretty allergic to lots of outdoor allergens, so we always have an artificial tree.

Channeling my inner Clark Griswold!

Next, we had the task of decorating it..which wasn't the easiest thing to do.

We enlisted the help of my mom, dad, and Makena for this part.

She's a beaut!

She was so happy with her gigantic tree :)

Another family Christmas down, two more to go (and one of those is next weekend).
We are blessed beyond measure to have Grammy with us.  She has always been a huge part of my life and the lives of my kids, and now Wrenley knows exactly who Grammy is.  It's sad that she will never know the Grammy we did, but Grammy loves Wrenley so much.

Much Love,
Beth

Three Doses of Happiness

Laundry piled up, dishes in the sink, phone buzzing with many emails, toys all over the house.......sounds like an absolute perfect time to go outside and relax with my kiddos! Today has been a VERY warm day.  It probably would be more enjoyable if we didn't know that it would more than likely storm tonight!  Carlie didn't go to school today because she was up a lot last night with stomach issues.  She never vomited, but she was very nauseated and has had stomach cramps.  She hasn't felt bad all day, just off and one.  We might be going to the doctor tomorrow p.m. because Sunday night I noticed that she has a little bulge above her belly button, I wasn't concerned about it (really) until her stomach started hurting and she said that it hurt to tough.  Maybe it's nothing, but people keep mentioning hernia to me.  Please pray that she feels better soon.  Also tomorrow is the big day....academic advising.  I remember the very first time I was advised (somewhere a
