Woo Pig Sooie!

The day that Makena had been waiting on finally arrived....it was game day for the Razorbacks! We played Florida A&M in Little Rock and it was on the SEC Network. This meant a little less to me than it did to her😊 The weather was pretty if-y up until Wednesday night, which coupled with this being on a Thursday, kept some people away. Carl had never been to a game and it had been years since I had been to one. We made our way to our gate just in time for the team and Coach B to make their entrance. I think Makena recorded the whole thing. She was so pumped about it all!
My trio, ready to cheer on the Hogs!

Me and Carl
Me with the kids

Trey and Makena stood most of the game

You can't see it well, but we made our first touchdown!

We won the game 49-7.
I would have been fine leaving at 3rd quarter but Makena was not having any of that!!

It was a late, but fun night!
Now we can officially say that Makena's birthday is over 😊😊

Much Love,
Beth

Three Doses of Happiness

Laundry piled up, dishes in the sink, phone buzzing with many emails, toys all over the house.......sounds like an absolute perfect time to go outside and relax with my kiddos! Today has been a VERY warm day.  It probably would be more enjoyable if we didn't know that it would more than likely storm tonight!  Carlie didn't go to school today because she was up a lot last night with stomach issues.  She never vomited, but she was very nauseated and has had stomach cramps.  She hasn't felt bad all day, just off and one.  We might be going to the doctor tomorrow p.m. because Sunday night I noticed that she has a little bulge above her belly button, I wasn't concerned about it (really) until her stomach started hurting and she said that it hurt to tough.  Maybe it's nothing, but people keep mentioning hernia to me.  Please pray that she feels better soon.  Also tomorrow is the big day....academic advising.  I remember the very first time I was advised (somewhere a
