Happy Valentine's Day!

What a day!  Today we loaded up our many Valentine's and headed off to school.  And we had SO many.....280 to be exact!  All four of us brought for the whole school, K-12.  We had a school-wide Valentine Party at 9:30 and then lunch was at 11:30.  I don't think many of the kids were hungry at all.
They had a super fun day and got lots of goodies.

Trey and his favorite girl, Devin were eating their snacks at their
classroom Valentine Party.
Trey and Hayden....best buds

Makena and Harlee showing some love!

Hannah and Carlie enjoying their party.
My flowers and owl vase from Carl.  He knows how much I love owls so he went and bought the vase at one of the little stores downtown and took it to the florist to have the flowers put in it and have them delivered to me at school.  I was surprised that he put so much effort in it.  He did good :)
I was also surprised when I got home and had this sitting on my doorstep.  It's a little stake that goes in a plant (I wonder how everybody knows I like owls?!).  It was from my secret sister at church.  Love it!
The kiddos with their Valentine's from Nanny and Pop...bears and giftcards.  They also got stuff from Grammy and Papa and me and Carl.  I love these three goofballs!

Carl made heart-shaped pancakes last night for supper.  He also made eggs and bacon :)  I love him too....this is our.....15th Valentine's together (we were not together at Valentine's on the first year)!  Our 13th wedding anniversary is coming up in about a month and I seriously think we need a little time away!  We'll see.

And now a little reminder about the greatest love of all:

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
John 3:16

Happy Valentine's Day From The Munger Family!!

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends! Today I'm linking up with  Andrea  and  Erika  for another Friday favorites. And here they are in no particular order: Last week our preacher told us that he had a surprise for us next week.  I had honestly forgotten about it until Carl mentioned at lunch on Sunday.  Trey said he knew what it was, but he wasn't telling.  It still didn't occur to me what it could be until we arrived at church on Sunday night, and I saw that Trey had a notebook along with his Bible sitting next to him on our pew.  It was him. Trey was the surprise.  He gave a short devotion before our Business Meeting.  He did well, considering it was his first time.  He said the congregation was a lot scarier when you are the one being stared at! This is a big deal because about 7 months ago he realized that he needed Jesus as his Savior.  And that came after about 7 months of me worrying about him, while he was trying to stretch his wings.  He has a re-directed path now and I pray e

Friday Favorites

It's been a hot minute since I've linked up with  Andrea  and  Erika  for a Friday Favorites! This is me trying to get back into my blogging groove :) I came across this little dress last year when we moved, and I knew it would be fit Wrenley this summer! It was Makena's circa 2004.  I just love it when a plan comes together.  A favorite for sure! Look at those babies. Twenty years has flown by. Miss Wrenley Beth. She doesn't look a thing like her momma, but definitely has Aunt Makena's sass! Hopefully as her hair grows, she will get Carlie's curls. We have been doing as much outdoor activities as possible.  That includes one of my favorite things...fishing! Carl, showing off his big bass. We weren't technically bass fishing, but whatever bites. It'll eat! Of course we have also been going to the river.  Our kids weren't able to go with us, so we just took the jet ski.   It has been raining so the water is a gross brown. I didn't say we went swi
