Today was such a beautiful day! We decided that we would take the kids out to the farm and do a little fishing. Trey and Carlie are still not 100% but sometimes I think that sometimes you just need a little fresh air! We only stayed out there for around an hour or so because I had to run into town to pick up a cake that my friend Jill made for a wedding shower. It was lots of fun and we know that we won't get too many more days like this because before long Carl will be in the fields working, so we were taking advantage of it!

Makena decided that if she couldn't catch a fish, at least she could catch a tan!
During all the action I am usually handing out snacks, taking pictures, and getting moss off of some body's line! It's just great to be able to get out and have some fun. It's going to be a pretty busy week this week. We have school and then a little getaway planned for the end of the week/weekend. The kids are super excited, I just hope everybody stays well.
