Trey's Duck Dynasty Birthday Party

We love Duck Dynasty

Pool Party Fun!
It was a little cool....in fact nobody swam after this party!

He was having a great birthday party!

They were shooting the decoys with water guns...BOYS!

He was having fun!

Still playing!

It's funny, when we planned Trey's swimming/Duck Dynasty party it was still pretty hot and then the day before his party, it turns cool :)  The poor kids about froze when they got out of the pool.  Oh well, as you can see, it didn't seem to keep them from playing.  Trey loved all the decoys in the pool and the camo decorations we had outside.  I would have better pictures of all of this, but my Internet was down for about 3 weeks after his birthday, and then I got a new phone and let Makena have my old one (that had all of my pictures on it) and now she has lost it!
On Trey's actual birthday, I let him skip school and my Mom and I took him shopping in Little Rock.  He found new boots, a new hat, stuff for his party, and of course we went out to eat!  He also got a tablet from Nanny and sat in the shopping cart in Target while we pushed him around getting stuff!  He was the prince for the day!
It is so hard for me to let him grow up. He doesn't really like me kissing on him or hugging him in public anymore.  It makes me sad.  I don't know where the past eight years have gone! I am so proud of him and thankful for him.  He is the comedy relief around here and completely the class clown.  Everybody loves Trey!

We love you so much, Trey Landon!!

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends! Today I'm linking up with  Andrea  and  Erika  for another Friday favorites. And here they are in no particular order: Last week our preacher told us that he had a surprise for us next week.  I had honestly forgotten about it until Carl mentioned at lunch on Sunday.  Trey said he knew what it was, but he wasn't telling.  It still didn't occur to me what it could be until we arrived at church on Sunday night, and I saw that Trey had a notebook along with his Bible sitting next to him on our pew.  It was him. Trey was the surprise.  He gave a short devotion before our Business Meeting.  He did well, considering it was his first time.  He said the congregation was a lot scarier when you are the one being stared at! This is a big deal because about 7 months ago he realized that he needed Jesus as his Savior.  And that came after about 7 months of me worrying about him, while he was trying to stretch hi...

Friday Favorites

It's been a hot minute since I've linked up with  Andrea  and  Erika  for a Friday Favorites! This is me trying to get back into my blogging groove :) I came across this little dress last year when we moved, and I knew it would be fit Wrenley this summer! It was Makena's circa 2004.  I just love it when a plan comes together.  A favorite for sure! Look at those babies. Twenty years has flown by. Miss Wrenley Beth. She doesn't look a thing like her momma, but definitely has Aunt Makena's sass! Hopefully as her hair grows, she will get Carlie's curls. We have been doing as much outdoor activities as possible.  That includes one of my favorite things...fishing! Carl, showing off his big bass. We weren't technically bass fishing, but whatever bites. It'll eat! Of course we have also been going to the river.  Our kids weren't able to go with us, so we just took the jet ski.   It has been raining so the water is a gross brown. I didn't s...
