Camp Courageous VBS 2015

This year's theme for Vacation Bible School was Camp Courageous. We had a good crowd of kids and lots of fun!
But before I get too far into that I have to start off with Sunday.
Our morning started off just like any other Sunday morning. Big breakfast, help T with his Sunday School homework, then a mad dash to get everybody ready. Well, I could just tell that Carl didn't feel well. He just looked pale and said he was dizzy. It got bad enough that I thought it would be best for us to go to the ER. They did all kinds of tests. When we got there and they took his blood pressure it was 181/124. Long story short, the test came back fine so we got medicine, a follow up appointment, and
came home.

Bless his heart...he did scare me a little!
Now back to VBS:

These were pictures of the first night.

These were night 2

Carl was in charge of the zip line. Of course the kids loved it.

There is no telling what kind of story he was telling!

We had a balloon release on Thursday night!

Away they go!!
The kids had lots of fun. The teachers and helpers were exhausted, but it was all worth it.

Three Doses of Happiness

Laundry piled up, dishes in the sink, phone buzzing with many emails, toys all over the house.......sounds like an absolute perfect time to go outside and relax with my kiddos! Today has been a VERY warm day.  It probably would be more enjoyable if we didn't know that it would more than likely storm tonight!  Carlie didn't go to school today because she was up a lot last night with stomach issues.  She never vomited, but she was very nauseated and has had stomach cramps.  She hasn't felt bad all day, just off and one.  We might be going to the doctor tomorrow p.m. because Sunday night I noticed that she has a little bulge above her belly button, I wasn't concerned about it (really) until her stomach started hurting and she said that it hurt to tough.  Maybe it's nothing, but people keep mentioning hernia to me.  Please pray that she feels better soon.  Also tomorrow is the big day....academic advising.  I remember the very first time I was advised (somewhere a
