Beach Vacay 2019 Part 1

Well it happened, even though I was sure it wouldn't this year. We were blessed to able to travel to our favorite spot for another beach vacation!  We had to rearrange things (taking our trip at the end of the week as opposed to the beginning) but we were successful in our endeavors and we all had an awesome time!
The gulf is just beyond those palm trees!

Car rides are not my favorite.

We threw our bags in the condo and changed into our swimsuits as fast as we could!

My favorite trio

Happy parents!!

He loves for me to take his picture...not!

Carlie and I found a nice spot to relax

Trey found a crab

Carl and I decided to rent chairs and an umbrella this year. We took three of our five chairs and our small beach umbrella and put the kids up closer to the water. We could keep an eye on them but still sit comfortably.

Makena came to sit with me and we sent Carl down with Trey! Carlie went up a little early to study. She had three tests to take when she went back to school on Monday. This school is no joke, ya'll. She loves it but it consumes all of her time right now.

Trey walked the beach with me and Carl one evening so he got to be our photographer

And much to his dismay, I took his picture too.
I just can't believe how grown up he looks or that he will be 14 in a month!!

This is probably why he looks so big....he eats a TON!!

Itty bitty ghost crabs

Happy Mama

She doesn't mind taking selfies with me.

The best place ever

We could watch the waves all day

That's all for part 1 folks! There are just so many pictures to choose from.

Much Love,
Beth

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends! Today I'm linking up with  Andrea  and  Erika  for another Friday favorites. And here they are in no particular order: Last week our preacher told us that he had a surprise for us next week.  I had honestly forgotten about it until Carl mentioned at lunch on Sunday.  Trey said he knew what it was, but he wasn't telling.  It still didn't occur to me what it could be until we arrived at church on Sunday night, and I saw that Trey had a notebook along with his Bible sitting next to him on our pew.  It was him. Trey was the surprise.  He gave a short devotion before our Business Meeting.  He did well, considering it was his first time.  He said the congregation was a lot scarier when you are the one being stared at! This is a big deal because about 7 months ago he realized that he needed Jesus as his Savior.  And that came after about 7 months of me worrying about him, while he was trying to stretch hi...

Friday Favorites

It's been a hot minute since I've linked up with  Andrea  and  Erika  for a Friday Favorites! This is me trying to get back into my blogging groove :) I came across this little dress last year when we moved, and I knew it would be fit Wrenley this summer! It was Makena's circa 2004.  I just love it when a plan comes together.  A favorite for sure! Look at those babies. Twenty years has flown by. Miss Wrenley Beth. She doesn't look a thing like her momma, but definitely has Aunt Makena's sass! Hopefully as her hair grows, she will get Carlie's curls. We have been doing as much outdoor activities as possible.  That includes one of my favorite things...fishing! Carl, showing off his big bass. We weren't technically bass fishing, but whatever bites. It'll eat! Of course we have also been going to the river.  Our kids weren't able to go with us, so we just took the jet ski.   It has been raining so the water is a gross brown. I didn't s...
