Happy Easter 2024

You're never too old to dye eggs!

Tried dying our brown/green eggs.
Trust the process

They actually looked pretty cool!

Sunday mornings are usually pretty hectic around here, but even more so on a holiday!
You would think we would be used to all the things by now.

Happy Easter!

Easter with two of my big kids.

Me with my Sunday School class.

Trey played the guitar and sang with Bro. Michael and his wife, Angela
They did a beautiful job.  I'm so thankful that he is using his talents in a way that pleases the Lord.

I took Wrenley to the nursery.  She was having a good time :)

My other big kids and grandbaby stopped by before we at lunch at my parents house.

Wrenley was so happy! She was ready to hunt some eggs!!

She found a money egg!

Took the money and threw the egg down 😆

It was nice that Wrenley had friends to hunt eggs with.
She doesn't really have any cousins her age.  These kiddos belong to our preacher.

Wrenley with Grammy and George

She loves riding the gator, but even more with Aunt Kena

Hallelujah Christ is Risen!  I didn't feel much like celebrating anything today.  I have been pretty sick (stomach issues) for about a week now.  Thankfully things were better today. I am also thankful that I serve a risen Savior!

"You ask me how I know He lives, He lives within my heart!"🎜🎜

Much Love,
Beth

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends! Today I'm linking up with  Andrea  and  Erika  for another Friday favorites. And here they are in no particular order: Last week our preacher told us that he had a surprise for us next week.  I had honestly forgotten about it until Carl mentioned at lunch on Sunday.  Trey said he knew what it was, but he wasn't telling.  It still didn't occur to me what it could be until we arrived at church on Sunday night, and I saw that Trey had a notebook along with his Bible sitting next to him on our pew.  It was him. Trey was the surprise.  He gave a short devotion before our Business Meeting.  He did well, considering it was his first time.  He said the congregation was a lot scarier when you are the one being stared at! This is a big deal because about 7 months ago he realized that he needed Jesus as his Savior.  And that came after about 7 months of me worrying about him, while he was trying to stretch hi...

Friday Favorites

Today I'm linking up with  Andrea  and  Erika  for the first Friday Favorites of 2025! Over the past three weeks, I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to spend more time with Wrenley. She is growing up so much. She is speaking in full sentences and is a clown to boot! We've enjoyed lots of naps in BeBe's bed, playing with baby dolls (one of her favorite things), and since I have to pick her up before 7 a.m. on the days she stays with me, we enjoy getting her favorites: donuts (nonuts) and hotcakes from McDonald's -not at the same time though! Snug as a bug in a rug! She loves her Ky Ky Another favorite is a clean kitchen! We have had our house in a bit of chaos like I'm sure everyone else has with all the holiday festivities (and with Carl being off). I am glad to have everything in its proper place! That ray of sunshine is therapy for my soul! The next thing on my favorites list is Carl's chili. We had it last night and will probably have leftovers for a few day...

Friday Favorites

It's been a hot minute since I've linked up with  Andrea  and  Erika  for a Friday Favorites! This is me trying to get back into my blogging groove :) I came across this little dress last year when we moved, and I knew it would be fit Wrenley this summer! It was Makena's circa 2004.  I just love it when a plan comes together.  A favorite for sure! Look at those babies. Twenty years has flown by. Miss Wrenley Beth. She doesn't look a thing like her momma, but definitely has Aunt Makena's sass! Hopefully as her hair grows, she will get Carlie's curls. We have been doing as much outdoor activities as possible.  That includes one of my favorite things...fishing! Carl, showing off his big bass. We weren't technically bass fishing, but whatever bites. It'll eat! Of course we have also been going to the river.  Our kids weren't able to go with us, so we just took the jet ski.   It has been raining so the water is a gross brown. I didn't s...
