Resurrection Rolls

Tonight was our Discovery Easter celebration.  We didn't have candy and eggs, but instead my dad read the book, The Legend of The Three Trees to the kids and then we made resurrection rolls.  We made the rolls last year also, but for a different group of kids, and again they really enjoyed seeing the empty "tomb".
Ready to go in the oven!  They are made out of crescent rolls (flattened), a marshmallow dipped in melted butter then rolled in cinnamon and sugar, then rolled up in these little balls and baked.
The rest of the kids
Blurry picture:  he moves around more than most people reading a book/giving a devotion!
After you bake it, the marshmallow dissolves and when you open it, it's empty!
T thought it was pretty yummy too!
Some of the kids singing "Lord I Lift Your Name On High"
This has nothing to do with Easter or Resurrection rolls, but T's awesome teacher, Mrs. Odom, bought this for me from Thirty One for helping her out so much this year :)  She has become such a good friend to me, not to mention she is a great teacher!

Happy Wednesday :)

Three Doses of Happiness

Laundry piled up, dishes in the sink, phone buzzing with many emails, toys all over the house.......sounds like an absolute perfect time to go outside and relax with my kiddos! Today has been a VERY warm day.  It probably would be more enjoyable if we didn't know that it would more than likely storm tonight!  Carlie didn't go to school today because she was up a lot last night with stomach issues.  She never vomited, but she was very nauseated and has had stomach cramps.  She hasn't felt bad all day, just off and one.  We might be going to the doctor tomorrow p.m. because Sunday night I noticed that she has a little bulge above her belly button, I wasn't concerned about it (really) until her stomach started hurting and she said that it hurt to tough.  Maybe it's nothing, but people keep mentioning hernia to me.  Please pray that she feels better soon.  Also tomorrow is the big day....academic advising.  I remember the very first time I was advised (somewhere a
