Field Trip To Harding

Today was Trey's class field trip to Harding University to see David Kiser.  It was a lot of fun and I didn't have to drive, which made it even better!  The campus there is just beautiful.  We had a picnic lunch at Harding Park, and then headed over to the auditorium.  Trey really got into all the songs and dancing.  I looked up and didn't see him and he was in the isle with some of his friends dancing around!  It was allowed and even encouraged on this trip!  After leaving Mrs. Odom took everyone to McDonald's for a hot fudge sundae.  We rolled back into school just in time for the girls to get out.  It was a fun day and it felt a little odd to only be with Trey on a field trip...usually I have all three of them!  It was fun to just spend some time away with him :)

It's been a week full of activities and more to come tomorrow :)  Sixteen more days of this madness, then we can rest (and probably be bored!)!

Friday Favorites

  Happy Friday, friends! Today I'm linking up with  Andrea  and  Erika  for another Friday favorites. And here they are in no particular order: Last week our preacher told us that he had a surprise for us next week.  I had honestly forgotten about it until Carl mentioned at lunch on Sunday.  Trey said he knew what it was, but he wasn't telling.  It still didn't occur to me what it could be until we arrived at church on Sunday night, and I saw that Trey had a notebook along with his Bible sitting next to him on our pew.  It was him. Friday Favorites

 It's been a hot minute since I've linked up with  Andrea  and  Erika  for a Friday Favorites! This is me trying to get back into my blogging groove :) I came across this little dress last year when we moved, and I knew it would be fit Wrenley this summer! It was Makena's circa 2004.  I just love it when a plan comes together.  A favorite for sure! Look at those babies. Twenty years has flown by. Miss Wrenley Beth. She doesn't look a thing like her momma, but definitely has Aunt Makena's sass! Hopefully as her hair grows, she will get Carlie's curls. What's Up Wednesday

Happy Wednesday! Today I am linking up with  Shay  and  Sheaffer  for a What's Up Wednesday.   It has been a while since I have done this particular link-up.   What We're Eating This Week... This week, we pulled out one of our very favorites: Ritz Cracker Chicken.  We all love this, but it is Trey's very favorite meal. Not only is this recipe super easy, it is also a quick meal with a simple ingredients list: Meat • 4 cups Chicken, cooked Produce • 1/4 tsp Garlic powder • 1/2 tsp Onion powder Canned Goods • 1 (10.5 ounce) can Cream of chicken soup Baking & Spices • 1/8 tsp Black pepper • 1/4 tsp Salt Snacks • 1 1/2 sleeves Ritz crackers Dairy • 1/2 cup Butter • 1 cup Sour cream Mix your chicken along with your other ingredients and spices and then pour them all in a baking dish.  Bake on 350 for about 15 minutes and viola!
