Pumpkin Patch 2012

Can you tell I forced him to sit and take a picture for me?!

My bull-ridin' girl
I sent this picture to Carl on his phone and he thought it was me!
My sweet pilgrims...well, one of them might be a little ornery
Can you guess which one?!
Oriah and Makena doing the duck races....this was one of their favorites!

Carlie, Mica, Libby, Katie, Haley, and Sarah Jane having fun by the see-saw

All the kiddos from our group.  We had a few who were unable to attend, but most everyone came.

Two sweet girls

Hayden, and Trey taking their turn at bull riding

There was pig racing and it was too cute.  They strapped these little stuffed animals to the back of their backs and they ran the track.  Very adorable :)  And their names were even cuter:  Porkchop, Baconette, Hambone, and Miss Piggy!

Today was our annual school pumpkin patch trip!  We had a really good time, and yes, thankfully it was a much better patch than last year where we had to pick our pumpkins from a box!  The kids played and played and were completely worn out by the time we got home :)
I have a few more pictures that I am going to try and put on here from my phone!  I thought I had enough for one post :)

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends! Today I'm linking up with  Andrea  and  Erika  for another Friday favorites. And here they are in no particular order: Last week our preacher told us that he had a surprise for us next week.  I had honestly forgotten about it until Carl mentioned at lunch on Sunday.  Trey said he knew what it was, but he wasn't telling.  It still didn't occur to me what it could be until we arrived at church on Sunday night, and I saw that Trey had a notebook along with his Bible sitting next to him on our pew.  It was him. Trey was the surprise.  He gave a short devotion before our Business Meeting.  He did well, considering it was his first time.  He said the congregation was a lot scarier when you are the one being stared at! This is a big deal because about 7 months ago he realized that he needed Jesus as his Savior.  And that came after about 7 months of me worrying about him, while he was trying to stretch hi...

Friday Favorites

It's been a hot minute since I've linked up with  Andrea  and  Erika  for a Friday Favorites! This is me trying to get back into my blogging groove :) I came across this little dress last year when we moved, and I knew it would be fit Wrenley this summer! It was Makena's circa 2004.  I just love it when a plan comes together.  A favorite for sure! Look at those babies. Twenty years has flown by. Miss Wrenley Beth. She doesn't look a thing like her momma, but definitely has Aunt Makena's sass! Hopefully as her hair grows, she will get Carlie's curls. We have been doing as much outdoor activities as possible.  That includes one of my favorite things...fishing! Carl, showing off his big bass. We weren't technically bass fishing, but whatever bites. It'll eat! Of course we have also been going to the river.  Our kids weren't able to go with us, so we just took the jet ski.   It has been raining so the water is a gross brown. I didn't s...
