Our Awesome Weekend!

Saturday was such a pretty day!  It was a perfect day to ride :)

I think that he is about to outgrow this 4wheeler :(
It seems just like yesterday he started riding it!

Sunday was a full day!  After church we had a shower for our pastor's wife, Darla.  They are expecting a new baby in March.

Carlie thinks that Emaleigh is her baby.  What she doesn't realize, is that Emaleigh has her right where she wants her!

Darla, opening her gifts

Then, after the shower, we had to celebrate Ellie Kate's 3rd birthday!

She is a "pincess" just ask her :)

Eating cake and ice cream

All the girls.  I didn't even get a picture of the boys at the party because they didn't want to be anywhere near a pink party.  They went outside and played in the dirt!

And then, the best part of the day.....TREY'S BAPTISM!

He was looking a little nervous here!

Water in the face!

Bro. Jon then presented him with a new Bible from the church.

I cannot tell you how happy I am that Trey has accepted Jesus as his Savior and followed him in baptism!  It was definitely the best part of an awesome weekend!  I feel so incredibly blessed :)

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends! Today I'm linking up with  Andrea  and  Erika  for another Friday favorites. And here they are in no particular order: Last week our preacher told us that he had a surprise for us next week.  I had honestly forgotten about it until Carl mentioned at lunch on Sunday.  Trey said he knew what it was, but he wasn't telling.  It still didn't occur to me what it could be until we arrived at church on Sunday night, and I saw that Trey had a notebook along with his Bible sitting next to him on our pew.  It was him. Trey was the surprise.  He gave a short devotion before our Business Meeting.  He did well, considering it was his first time.  He said the congregation was a lot scarier when you are the one being stared at! This is a big deal because about 7 months ago he realized that he needed Jesus as his Savior.  And that came after about 7 months of me worrying about him, while he was trying to stretch hi...

Friday Favorites

It's been a hot minute since I've linked up with  Andrea  and  Erika  for a Friday Favorites! This is me trying to get back into my blogging groove :) I came across this little dress last year when we moved, and I knew it would be fit Wrenley this summer! It was Makena's circa 2004.  I just love it when a plan comes together.  A favorite for sure! Look at those babies. Twenty years has flown by. Miss Wrenley Beth. She doesn't look a thing like her momma, but definitely has Aunt Makena's sass! Hopefully as her hair grows, she will get Carlie's curls. We have been doing as much outdoor activities as possible.  That includes one of my favorite things...fishing! Carl, showing off his big bass. We weren't technically bass fishing, but whatever bites. It'll eat! Of course we have also been going to the river.  Our kids weren't able to go with us, so we just took the jet ski.   It has been raining so the water is a gross brown. I didn't s...
