Happy 9th Birthday, Trey!

I really cannot believe that I just typed 9th Birthday!! It seems like only yesterday that I found out I was having a boy! I sure had no idea how much one little boy could change our girl world! He is a pretty awesome kid that loves to have fun and lives life to the fullest everyday!

I gave him the option of going to school or not on his birthday (they all have that option) and can you believe he actually wanted to go?! He said he needed to go because their teacher gave them $10 in a card! So Carl brought pizza in for lunch and we had a little family pizza party at school. He also wanted to have a bonfire that night and the weather was perfect. My sister and her kids got to come over and play for a little while, & that made him happy too!!
Saturday we had his party at the bowling alley and he had his cousins and some of his school & church friends come. He had a lot of fun.
Sunday we sang "Happy Birthday" to him one last time at church. He also got two gifts that day, so he basically partied all weekend!

Three Doses of Happiness

Laundry piled up, dishes in the sink, phone buzzing with many emails, toys all over the house.......sounds like an absolute perfect time to go outside and relax with my kiddos! Today has been a VERY warm day.  It probably would be more enjoyable if we didn't know that it would more than likely storm tonight!  Carlie didn't go to school today because she was up a lot last night with stomach issues.  She never vomited, but she was very nauseated and has had stomach cramps.  She hasn't felt bad all day, just off and one.  We might be going to the doctor tomorrow p.m. because Sunday night I noticed that she has a little bulge above her belly button, I wasn't concerned about it (really) until her stomach started hurting and she said that it hurt to tough.  Maybe it's nothing, but people keep mentioning hernia to me.  Please pray that she feels better soon.  Also tomorrow is the big day....academic advising.  I remember the very first time I was advised (somewhere a
