The Wedding

The Stephens boys with my kiddos.  Honestly, these two boys are the sweetest kids ever!

With the bride.

We left Memphis around lunch to head to Cherry Valley for Carl's neice's wedding. It started at 4, so we went to Wynne to change first. We finally left around 6:30 and headed back home, but first we had to stop and get Carlie something to eat. They only had soups and chili at the reception (I know.), and Carlie doesn't eat either. We got back home around 8 or 8:30 and I got to start laundry....BOO! The wedding was all I expected and now they're married so that is the end of that. Let me just say something before I wrap this post up: Do not invite someone to sit with you at a wedding when everyone else on the row is being escorted in and out. It makes for an awkward moment for those you invited, who now feel like they are unwanted and wasted their time and money even showing up! You know, it really doesn't matter if I liked any of it, but it does matter how you made Carl feel.
And on that note I will say,
The End.

Three Doses of Happiness

Laundry piled up, dishes in the sink, phone buzzing with many emails, toys all over the house.......sounds like an absolute perfect time to go outside and relax with my kiddos! Today has been a VERY warm day.  It probably would be more enjoyable if we didn't know that it would more than likely storm tonight!  Carlie didn't go to school today because she was up a lot last night with stomach issues.  She never vomited, but she was very nauseated and has had stomach cramps.  She hasn't felt bad all day, just off and one.  We might be going to the doctor tomorrow p.m. because Sunday night I noticed that she has a little bulge above her belly button, I wasn't concerned about it (really) until her stomach started hurting and she said that it hurt to tough.  Maybe it's nothing, but people keep mentioning hernia to me.  Please pray that she feels better soon.  Also tomorrow is the big day....academic advising.  I remember the very first time I was advised (somewhere a
