Trey's Birthday Week!

We starting celebrating Trey's birthday a week before his actual birthday. My grandparents wanted him to come to their house and have a mini celebration. My Papa bought a gun from Carl several years ago and he wanted to give it to Trey now. Trey had no idea about it though! Grammy made him a pecan pie and they had it all planned out where he opened the shells first. He said thank-you even though he didn't know what he was gonna use them for. Then Papa came in carrying the gun :) It was a special moment.

The girls knew about it the whole time. They were as excited for him as anybody!

All grins...even if he thought they were crazy!

You think he was excited?!

It was a great way to start off his birthday week!
Wednesday night our Discovery kids sang Happy Birthday to him and another kid.
And on Thursday he got a MAJOR surprise from me and Carl...a guinea pig named Peanut!

Look at his face!

He loves her!

She likes to "talk" to you :)

Lots of snuggles
He has had an awesome birthday week!

Three Doses of Happiness

Laundry piled up, dishes in the sink, phone buzzing with many emails, toys all over the house.......sounds like an absolute perfect time to go outside and relax with my kiddos! Today has been a VERY warm day.  It probably would be more enjoyable if we didn't know that it would more than likely storm tonight!  Carlie didn't go to school today because she was up a lot last night with stomach issues.  She never vomited, but she was very nauseated and has had stomach cramps.  She hasn't felt bad all day, just off and one.  We might be going to the doctor tomorrow p.m. because Sunday night I noticed that she has a little bulge above her belly button, I wasn't concerned about it (really) until her stomach started hurting and she said that it hurt to tough.  Maybe it's nothing, but people keep mentioning hernia to me.  Please pray that she feels better soon.  Also tomorrow is the big day....academic advising.  I remember the very first time I was advised (somewhere a
