Happy Thanksgiving friends! Hope that you all have had a great day. We have had an awesome day with family and tomorrow we get to go to Wynne and do it all over again with Carl's family.
We had lunch at my Grammy and Papa's house. They live just down the road from us. One of my cousins and her daughter came as well as my sister and her family, my parents, and a couple of Uncles and Aunt Vicki.
The kids had so much fun playing with remote control cars, riding miniature ponies, riding the go-carts, and playing Pie in the Face. Needless to say we came home and took a quick nap before heading to DeWitt to my Papaw Garrett's house. It was really nice and quiet there, lol. This year my sister and her family had to go to Jonesboro, so they weren't able to be there and a couple of my Dad's siblings had been there at lunch, so it was just us, my parents, and my Uncle Charlie and Aunt Shelia. We had a good time eating and visiting. I am thankful for my family...all of them. Sometimes we (I) get so caught up in our lives and individual families that we (I) forget that we are all getting older. My grandparents, parents, Aunts, Uncles....they are getting older as well. It's part of life, but it makes me a little sad.
Anyway, today has been great! Here are a few pictures from the day:
