One of the best parts of our trip was going to West Ship Island in the Gulf of Mexico. It was a lot of fun for the kids and the beaches there were a lot prettier and had bigger waves. We took an 11mile (one way) ferry ride to the island. It took about an hour to get there and the kids got to see lots of neat stuff on the way!

The Girls on the boat
And we're off!!
See you later, Gulfport!
If you look closely you can see a dolphin fin. We saw lots of dolphins, but they were so fast, I could never get a picture of them! It was a little frustrating, but it was way cool.
Ft. Massachusetts is located close to where our boat docked on the North side of the Island.
You could tour the fort, but we didn't because the kids were so interested in getting in the water.
I do regret not going in it, though.
She gives the Island a big "thumbs-up"!
Carl and the kids jumped right in!
I thought this was pretty cool! You can see Makena under the water. I told you it was clear!
So much fun!
He was in heaven!
He's running like David Hasselhoff!
He got buried!
My view was looking pretty good!
Me and the kids
Almost time to leave!
He wasn't happy that we didn't get to sit where we sat on the way to the Island. He literally pouted the whole hour back!
Yep, on her phone again!
We were a little red, and really tired, but it was a fun day and I would highly recommend it to anybody!
