Weekend Recap

Only 5 more days until Christmas! I have to admit, I've been running low on Christmas spirit this year, but I am determined to keep things as light as possible for my kids (or at least Makena and Trey).

We made the trip to Sherwood to see the Christmas lights along with what seemed like half of the state of Arkansas. I guess everyone felt pretty safe driving thru lights. We waited in line for around an hour and a half before getting to the entrance. Trey and Carl cranked the music up and we had everyone around us laughing. Me and Makena may have been crouching down in our seats but their antics made the time pass a little faster. This is the first year that Carlie hasn't been with us. I invited her (and Caleb) but they were doing some home renovations.

The piano man

He played Feliz Navidad and It Came Upon the Midnight Clear. I love hearing him play the piano but these days his preference is the guitar.

Aunt Becky and her students.

We had the Christmas recital on Saturday evening. It was at the Community Center this year so we could spread out a little more. I think there were two more students that started in the fall but stopped lessons because their parents were afraid of Covid.

My whole crew. Makena, Carlie and Caleb came to watch Trey play and eat some yummy BBQ from Craig's.
Me and my baby.
He played a shepherd in our church Christmas program, "Shepherds, Sheep, and A Saviour ".

Trey and Bailey

Papa and Grammy made it out for the program.
They also came to Trey's piano recital. They don't get out much on Sunday mornings because Grammy has a hard time getting up.

Some of the crew. Sweet baby Ryker was in his first program tonight. Unless they happen to move away from our area, I see many more in his future!

Peyton wanted Mr. Carl to help her with her angel wings. He is a pro at all things little girls!

Joseph and Mary

Peyton was our only angel this year.
We feel blessed to have been able to have a Christmas program at all considering some churches aren't even meeting. I guess that's a perk to being a member of a small church.

Bailey was on point tonight!
He keeps us laughing for sure.
Bailey is autistic and believed to be "vaccine injured". They will never have hard proof of this because that would mean someone may have to take responsibility, BUT his parents and grandparents will tell you he was perfectly normal until THAT vaccine.

And that's a wrap! We had a great weekend, filled will lots of Christmas activities.

Much Love,
Beth

Three Doses of Happiness

Laundry piled up, dishes in the sink, phone buzzing with many emails, toys all over the house.......sounds like an absolute perfect time to go outside and relax with my kiddos! Today has been a VERY warm day.  It probably would be more enjoyable if we didn't know that it would more than likely storm tonight!  Carlie didn't go to school today because she was up a lot last night with stomach issues.  She never vomited, but she was very nauseated and has had stomach cramps.  She hasn't felt bad all day, just off and one.  We might be going to the doctor tomorrow p.m. because Sunday night I noticed that she has a little bulge above her belly button, I wasn't concerned about it (really) until her stomach started hurting and she said that it hurt to tough.  Maybe it's nothing, but people keep mentioning hernia to me.  Please pray that she feels better soon.  Also tomorrow is the big day....academic advising.  I remember the very first time I was advised (somewhere a
