December 2024 Part 2

Part two of December isn't going to be as long as part one! I didn't take many pictures of the kids opening their gifts because I was busy enjoying the moment. It was honestly one of the easiest Christmases we have had. Everyone was pretty chill and unhurried. I love that!

Before breakfast, I decided to snap a picture of the dining room.
This is Grammy's plaid tablecloth. I love adding her little touches to the holidays.

We love Pappy's Christmas breakfast!

Wrenley is the center of attention around here!

My girls

She loves giving her baby a bath!
We had to open it and put water in it immediately :)

I do believe this was her most favorite gift at BeBe and Pappy's house.
She literally painted off and on ALL DAY!

I did get a picture of Trey opening his gifts :)
It was very weird that he didn't wake up at my house on Christmas morning.
Makena tried to get him to stay the night in his old room, but he wouldn't.

Caleb opening his gifts

Wrenley got her blue tractor.
She knows that JoJo and Papa have red tractors and Pappy drives green tractors.
A farmer down the road from us has New Holland Tractors, and Wrenley loves his blue tractors!

He couldn't help himself! I think he wants one now :)

Makena and Trey opening gifts at my parent's house.

Wrenley loved her Mickey Mouse baking set!

My nephew Eli

Noah, Trey, and Ellie Kate
Cousins are fun :)

Merry Christmas from the Garretts, Mungers, Prices, and Sturch/Simpsons!

Boone's face just before tearing up one of his Christmas toys!

Makena got a Harry Potter Monopoly game from my parents.
We played it Christmas night, and it was pretty fun.
I couldn't believe how pretty it was.

Merry Christmas Season from our family to yours!

Much Love,
Beth

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends! Today I'm linking up with  Andrea  and  Erika  for another Friday favorites. And here they are in no particular order: Last week our preacher told us that he had a surprise for us next week.  I had honestly forgotten about it until Carl mentioned at lunch on Sunday.  Trey said he knew what it was, but he wasn't telling.  It still didn't occur to me what it could be until we arrived at church on Sunday night, and I saw that Trey had a notebook along with his Bible sitting next to him on our pew.  It was him. Trey was the surprise.  He gave a short devotion before our Business Meeting.  He did well, considering it was his first time.  He said the congregation was a lot scarier when you are the one being stared at! This is a big deal because about 7 months ago he realized that he needed Jesus as his Savior.  And that came after about 7 months of me worrying about him, while he was trying to stretch hi...

Friday Favorites

It's been a hot minute since I've linked up with  Andrea  and  Erika  for a Friday Favorites! This is me trying to get back into my blogging groove :) I came across this little dress last year when we moved, and I knew it would be fit Wrenley this summer! It was Makena's circa 2004.  I just love it when a plan comes together.  A favorite for sure! Look at those babies. Twenty years has flown by. Miss Wrenley Beth. She doesn't look a thing like her momma, but definitely has Aunt Makena's sass! Hopefully as her hair grows, she will get Carlie's curls. We have been doing as much outdoor activities as possible.  That includes one of my favorite things...fishing! Carl, showing off his big bass. We weren't technically bass fishing, but whatever bites. It'll eat! Of course we have also been going to the river.  Our kids weren't able to go with us, so we just took the jet ski.   It has been raining so the water is a gross brown. I didn't s...
