November was a pretty tough month for me. As Daylight Savings Time comes to an end and the darkness comes earlier and earlier, the seasonal depression makes its presence known. I try to stay busy but even small tasks become more and more difficult and Satan uses every situation he can to make you doubt and fall into a pit of self-pity. I have to remind myself to count every single blessing and remember God's goodness and grace to make it through hard days.
Makena asked me to go to an air show of sorts in Blytheville. Our museum was invited to attend and it was actually a pretty fun day. It was extremely windy, and we were outdoors all day (the reason our tablecloth was tied up) but it was a good time spent with my baby girl. I just loved watching her talk with passersby about museum things. I was definitely a proud momma!
The planes were pretty cool too!
This one may have been my favorite.
November was also election month! I wanted us to all be able to go vote together but Makena and Trey's schedules never lined up, so Carl went with Trey and Makena and I went together.
My outdoor camera caught this of Trey leaving the house on Election Day.
Carlie and Caleb playing with sweet Wrenley.
The views from this house are beautiful!
Even when it's raining.
November was also a month of celebration! Carlie was born on my mom's birthday, so almost every year, we have celebrated their birthdays together.
The birthday girls and Wrenley
I love these two so much! Carlie is such a great daughter and mother. She is always thinking of others and that makes me so proud to be her mom. She took to motherhood so naturally. Although she is busy working a full-time job, being a wife to a fireman, and a mom to a toddler, she rarely if ever complains.
My mom is the most unselfish, giving person I have ever met. She loves and fights with her whole heart. I am thankful for them both every day!
We had our annual Harvest Supper at church the week before Thanksgiving.
I failed as a mother because I got pictures of everyone except Trey and Caleb.
Me and my girls.
I sure do love them!
Makena with Miss Wrenley.
She calls Makena "Ky Ky" and nobody knows why :)
We also said "goodbye" to Pearl the Acadia!
She was a good car but had almost 200,000 miles on her.
Everyone say hello to Fancy.
I haven't ever had a full-size vehicle, so it took a minute to get used to driving her.
I'm in love!
Carl's nephew, Hunter got married at the end of November.
There were several missing from this picture, but they wanted a "family" picture anyway.
Next up, Thanksgiving!
We had our Munger Family Thanksgiving on the night before Thanksgiving.
Carlie snapped this picture of my place setting.
Thanksgiving falls on the week of Stuttgart's Annual Wings Over the Prairie Festival. This year was super cold. My dad enjoys running in the 5K Duck Run. We try to go and support him whenever we are able.
He finished first in his age division and beat his best time.
We are so proud of our Pop!
Pop's favorite little cheerleader!
