Our Awesome Weekend!

Saturday was such a pretty day!  It was a perfect day to ride :)   I think that he is about to outgrow this 4wheeler :( It seems just like yesterday he started riding it!   Sunday was a full day!  After church we had a shower for our pastor's wife, Darla.  They are expecting a new baby in March.   Carlie thinks that Emaleigh is her baby.  What she doesn't realize, is that Emaleigh has her right where she wants her!   Darla, opening her gifts   Then, after the shower, we had to celebrate Ellie Kate's 3rd birthday!     She is a "pincess" just ask her :)   Eating cake and ice cream   All the girls.  I didn't even get a picture of the boys at the party because they didn't want to be anywhere near a pink party.  They went outside and played in the dirt!   And then, the best part of the day.....TREY'S BAPTISM!   He was looking a little nervous he...

Friday Night Fun!

The whole time that we were off for Christmas break the kids kept wanting to have a bonfire, but the weather just did NOT cooperate.  First it was too cold, then it snowed, then it was still way too cold for me, but we went ahead and had a mini one.  Which means we stayed out for less than an hour and used the pit close to the house.  Last night, even though there were a few mosquitoes, was the perfect night.  We went out around 6:00 and came back in after 9:00.  The kids were having fun and never asked to come in :) Perfect fire!   We were happy that the kids were happy!      These were being so goofy!     I'm not sure what kind of face he was making here, but poor Lil Man was about to fall off the chair!   After a long day of school and basketball practice, it was nice to just relax and have a fun Friday night!   Beth

Random Stuff

My little bed head boy playing with his castle and pirate ship!   Me with my girlies.  We had a girls day out one day during Christmas break :)   I stole this one from Carlie's phone.  I guess she had somebody at Christmas take this picture of her and Leslie :)     I was looking through old pictures and found these two.  It made me so sad to look at the girls and see how much they have grown!  I think Carlie was around 22 or 23 months and Makena was 2 or 3 months!  And I've always loved the picture on the right of Trey!  He was so smiley!! Wearing his black rubber boots and shorts :)  I do miss those days.....sometimes!

Top Moments of 2012

I know it's a little late, but here were some of our top moments of 2012. I know there are many more than this to come! Happy New Year :)   Beth

New Year's Eve at The Munger House

We are not the kind of people who go all out for New Year's Eve.  No big parties and half the time we ring in the New Year in our beds :)  This year wasn't really much different other than the fact that we let the kids stay up as long as they wanted....which, most of them went to bed and right to sleep around 10:30 (bedtime around here is 9:00, EVERY night).  We ate a yummy supper that Carl cooked on the grill, got in our jammies and had a dance off on Wii, played Twister, did a few fireworks that were left over from 4th of July, then watched a movie/went to bed.  It was a fun family night! pork chops...YUMMY We also started preparing for New Years Day with our pork butt and ribs :) Lil' Man and Trey Carlie and Salem (he got to come in for a picture only!) Ping Pong! Our fireworks....like I said they were leftovers. Twister!  We had so much fun with this one.  I don't think I've ever laughed to hard!     ...

It's a Snow Day!

Well, with Christmas day came the first snow of the winter season, here in Arkansas!  There were places that got 8 to 10 inches, but we only got 2 to 3.  The kids had a blast playing in it, and we were very blessed to not have lost electricity like so many did!  Here are a few snow pictures I took:             I know that for a lot of people who had to go 7 days or more without electricity this was not a fun snow storm, but for us, it was a fun snow day!   Beth

Christmas with Nanny and Pop

We finally got to celebrate our Christmas with Nanny and Pop when the Simpson's decided to come in from Jonesboro.  The kids were so ready to open their presents! He was tired of me taking pictures, and ready to tear into those presents! New personalized luggage! New necklace and earrings from the Simpsons! Trey loved his castle! Luggage for Kena, too! Carlie got a new Mack's shirt :) Pop, opening the gift we got him....a drill.   It seems that I never get a picture of my mom opening presents...probably because she's always worried about other people opening their presents, and isn't really all that concerned about opening her own!  We love you Mom, and thank-you for all that you do!   We had a great Christmas, and we know that we are blessed beyond what we deserve!  I'm so thankful to have been able to spend the day with family and make memories that will last a lifetime, but most of all I'm thankful that God sent his so...
