Christmas Day 2012

This "present" from Trey to me was under the tree and I had to take a picture of it.
I kept throwing boxes away and he is like a hoarder and likes to keep all boxes so he wrote me this little note on the box...Do not frow this away!!! He spelled it (on his own) just like he says it :)
Carl was in charge of the pictures at our house....enough said.
This one cracks me up...I made them wait until the last minute to give all three of them their tablets!  They were SUPER excited :)

And that's all they wanted to do all day... play on their tablets!  I did splurge a bit with the girls and picked up cute Vera Bradley tablet cases :)  T didn't care a bit, though!
They got other stuff from us too: remote control terrain thingy, pogo stick, tennis shoes, TOMs, iphone speaker, Duck Commander shirts, and more!
After we opened our presents at the house we went to Grammy and Papa's for Christmas lunch.

He's such a goofball!
Poor Papa has been sick for about a week, but was feeling better for Christmas!
The Simpson's came in at Grammy's while we were there eating.
Makena and Ellie Kate were playing wit Minnie Mouse.

This was so funny, EK was giving Jaxi a kiss, and Jaxi wasn't too sure about it!  Look at her eyes!!

Our next stop was Nanny and Pop's house, but that's for another post!!

Lots more fun to come!!
Beth

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends! Today I'm linking up with  Andrea  and  Erika  for another Friday favorites. And here they are in no particular order: Last week our preacher told us that he had a surprise for us next week.  I had honestly forgotten about it until Carl mentioned at lunch on Sunday.  Trey said he knew what it was, but he wasn't telling.  It still didn't occur to me what it could be until we arrived at church on Sunday night, and I saw that Trey had a notebook along with his Bible sitting next to him on our pew.  It was him. Trey was the surprise.  He gave a short devotion before our Business Meeting.  He did well, considering it was his first time.  He said the congregation was a lot scarier when you are the one being stared at! This is a big deal because about 7 months ago he realized that he needed Jesus as his Savior.  And that came after about 7 months of me worrying about him, while he was trying to stretch hi...

Friday Favorites

It's been a hot minute since I've linked up with  Andrea  and  Erika  for a Friday Favorites! This is me trying to get back into my blogging groove :) I came across this little dress last year when we moved, and I knew it would be fit Wrenley this summer! It was Makena's circa 2004.  I just love it when a plan comes together.  A favorite for sure! Look at those babies. Twenty years has flown by. Miss Wrenley Beth. She doesn't look a thing like her momma, but definitely has Aunt Makena's sass! Hopefully as her hair grows, she will get Carlie's curls. We have been doing as much outdoor activities as possible.  That includes one of my favorite things...fishing! Carl, showing off his big bass. We weren't technically bass fishing, but whatever bites. It'll eat! Of course we have also been going to the river.  Our kids weren't able to go with us, so we just took the jet ski.   It has been raining so the water is a gross brown. I didn't s...
