Memorial Day Weekend Part 1: Swimming & A Cookout

Trey was having a good time in his boat!

Makena, was first to go down the slide this year!

I managed to get all three of them in this one. This is why I bought a baby boat for an 8 1/2 year old. He loved to go down the slide in it last year, so this year I bought him one of his own!

Carlie thinks she is too cool for my pictures

T was rockin' the boat and shades!

Woo Hoo for summer!!

After a fun afternoon of swimming we went down to DeWitt for my Papaw's Memorial Day cookout. Trey had fun riding the golf cart with Austin, Brandon, and Grayson.

We were pleasantly surprised that Carl got to come eat with us. We haven't seen a lot of him this week so we were all needing some Daddy time!

This has nothing to do with Memorial Day, but when I got to school on Friday I noticed that Trey's teacher and I had on the same dress! She is my favorite teacher in the world, and I am so sad that this is the last year any of my kids will have her!

Three Doses of Happiness

Laundry piled up, dishes in the sink, phone buzzing with many emails, toys all over the house.......sounds like an absolute perfect time to go outside and relax with my kiddos! Today has been a VERY warm day.  It probably would be more enjoyable if we didn't know that it would more than likely storm tonight!  Carlie didn't go to school today because she was up a lot last night with stomach issues.  She never vomited, but she was very nauseated and has had stomach cramps.  She hasn't felt bad all day, just off and one.  We might be going to the doctor tomorrow p.m. because Sunday night I noticed that she has a little bulge above her belly button, I wasn't concerned about it (really) until her stomach started hurting and she said that it hurt to tough.  Maybe it's nothing, but people keep mentioning hernia to me.  Please pray that she feels better soon.  Also tomorrow is the big day....academic advising.  I remember the very first time I was advised (somewhere a
