My mom with some of the kids in the pool.

Anna Grace and Carl....she looks a little less than thrilled with my pictures.

Anthony was upset with someone.  I just couldn't resist taking a picture.  He's such a cutie!!

Lots of fun for the little ones.

Kara and Kevin with baby Nick.

Then the big kids started having some fun doing jumps and dives.
My "Super" Dad!

Carl did a butt buster!

Not sure what Trey was doing :)

Bonnie and Jillian

Me and my girls!

Greg and Bro. Chipper shooting the breeze.

We made a trip to the library Friday afternoon because Makena needed a book report.
She either needed an information book or a biography, and she was absolutely thrilled when we found The Brandon Burlsworth Story!
She is a huge fan of EVERYTHING Razorback!
My parents also took her and Carlie to see Greater (the Brandon Burlsworth movie).  I got mixed reviews: my mom and Makena said it was awesome and my dad and Carlie said it was "ok".

We didn't have church services Sunday night, so we went out to the farm to enjoy our last hoorah until next Sunday!  Carl will start rice harvest tomorrow (at least that is the plan), so I will be a farming widow :(
Isn't this just beautiful though?  We sure have an awesome Creator!

Much Love,
Beth

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends! Today I'm linking up with  Andrea  and  Erika  for another Friday favorites. And here they are in no particular order: Last week our preacher told us that he had a surprise for us next week.  I had honestly forgotten about it until Carl mentioned at lunch on Sunday.  Trey said he knew what it was, but he wasn't telling.  It still didn't occur to me what it could be until we arrived at church on Sunday night, and I saw that Trey had a notebook along with his Bible sitting next to him on our pew.  It was him. Trey was the surprise.  He gave a short devotion before our Business Meeting.  He did well, considering it was his first time.  He said the congregation was a lot scarier when you are the one being stared at! This is a big deal because about 7 months ago he realized that he needed Jesus as his Savior.  And that came after about 7 months of me worrying about him, while he was trying to stretch hi...

Friday Favorites

It's been a hot minute since I've linked up with  Andrea  and  Erika  for a Friday Favorites! This is me trying to get back into my blogging groove :) I came across this little dress last year when we moved, and I knew it would be fit Wrenley this summer! It was Makena's circa 2004.  I just love it when a plan comes together.  A favorite for sure! Look at those babies. Twenty years has flown by. Miss Wrenley Beth. She doesn't look a thing like her momma, but definitely has Aunt Makena's sass! Hopefully as her hair grows, she will get Carlie's curls. We have been doing as much outdoor activities as possible.  That includes one of my favorite things...fishing! Carl, showing off his big bass. We weren't technically bass fishing, but whatever bites. It'll eat! Of course we have also been going to the river.  Our kids weren't able to go with us, so we just took the jet ski.   It has been raining so the water is a gross brown. I didn't s...

Happy Wednesday! Today I am linking up with  Shay  and  Sheaffer  for a What's Up Wednesday.   It has been a while since I have done this particular link-up.   What We're Eating This Week... This week, we pulled out one of our very favorites: Ritz Cracker Chicken.  We all love this, but it is Trey's very favorite meal. Not only is this recipe super easy, it is also a quick meal with a simple ingredients list: Meat • 4 cups Chicken, cooked Produce • 1/4 tsp Garlic powder • 1/2 tsp Onion powder Canned Goods • 1 (10.5 ounce) can Cream of chicken soup Baking & Spices • 1/8 tsp Black pepper • 1/4 tsp Salt Snacks • 1 1/2 sleeves Ritz crackers Dairy • 1/2 cup Butter • 1 cup Sour cream Mix your chicken along with your other ingredients and spices and then pour them all in a baking dish.  Bake on 350 for about 15 minutes and viola!
