Let's Party!

Well my niece  and nephews came down Friday night and the kids have had such a good time hanging out and just being together. We celebrated Ellie's Birthday this weekend because we won't get to see her on her actual birthday.
This is Ellie's BFF from Stuttgart, Destiny.
There were several kids at her party but really she would have been fine if only Destiny showed up!

Some of the kids. People were everywhere. The boys didn't want to be with the girls so they were wherever the girls weren't!

For about the 4th year in a row, Ellie had a cowgirl themed party.

Papa and Carl

Blow out those candles, sweet girl!
I hope all of your wishes come true😊

Cowboy Eli!

The Birthday Princess got her present from Nanny and Pop on Friday. Of course she needed a hover board like boys!

Carlie tried out EK's skates that light up.

All of the girl grandkids.
They were happy to be together again.

Because I'm probably already saying more than I should I will keep this short: Divorce is so ugly y'all. Children are not pawns in a game. They are precious beings that have to suffer the most..not because of anything they have done but because of the bad choices their parents have made. That's right, I said PARENTS. There is rarely a time when things are one-sided. The devil is real and so are his attacks on the family unit.
I am thankful for this weekend and the time we were able to spend with Noah, Eli, and Ellie Kate. God knows what is best for them and you can bet your bottom dollar that this Auntie has everyone I can think of storming heaven on their behalf. God is faithful and His promises are true. Thank you, Jesus!

Much Love,
Beth

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends! Today I'm linking up with  Andrea  and  Erika  for another Friday favorites. And here they are in no particular order: Last week our preacher told us that he had a surprise for us next week.  I had honestly forgotten about it until Carl mentioned at lunch on Sunday.  Trey said he knew what it was, but he wasn't telling.  It still didn't occur to me what it could be until we arrived at church on Sunday night, and I saw that Trey had a notebook along with his Bible sitting next to him on our pew.  It was him. Trey was the surprise.  He gave a short devotion before our Business Meeting.  He did well, considering it was his first time.  He said the congregation was a lot scarier when you are the one being stared at! This is a big deal because about 7 months ago he realized that he needed Jesus as his Savior.  And that came after about 7 months of me worrying about him, while he was trying to stretch hi...

Friday Favorites

It's been a hot minute since I've linked up with  Andrea  and  Erika  for a Friday Favorites! This is me trying to get back into my blogging groove :) I came across this little dress last year when we moved, and I knew it would be fit Wrenley this summer! It was Makena's circa 2004.  I just love it when a plan comes together.  A favorite for sure! Look at those babies. Twenty years has flown by. Miss Wrenley Beth. She doesn't look a thing like her momma, but definitely has Aunt Makena's sass! Hopefully as her hair grows, she will get Carlie's curls. We have been doing as much outdoor activities as possible.  That includes one of my favorite things...fishing! Carl, showing off his big bass. We weren't technically bass fishing, but whatever bites. It'll eat! Of course we have also been going to the river.  Our kids weren't able to go with us, so we just took the jet ski.   It has been raining so the water is a gross brown. I didn't s...
