Weekly Rewind

Trey was working hard on his History Quiz

Carlie chose to work in the floor on this day.
She is doing Business Math here and was checking on her stocks for a project they are doing.

I was grading papers when I received this message from Makena who was watching Spanish in her room. Gotta love her humor!

We made pinecone bird feeders in our Discovery classes Wednesday night.

Skylare and Gauge were my two students for the night

Trey went for a ride on his hoverboard and I walked behind him. We ended up going to the church and back which is close to a half mile. I was surprised that his battery stayed up that long.  It started beeping just as we were headed into the driveway. We are thankful for pretty spring-like days like this!

We went to eat at Dondie's White River Princess on Friday evening with my parents and grandparents.  Trey was all smiles because he was getting to eat crawfish.

Grammy and Papa were sharing ice cream!

Carl was trying to coach Trey in bowling but you probably know how that worked out!

Well, that's our week in review. I had every intention of writing a post on praying for your kids. I am reading a book called "The Power of a Praying Parent" by Stormie Omartian. I had been looking for a new book to read and praying for my kids is something that is always on my mind. Maybe one day when I'm not so tired I will share a little bit of what I have learned...or you can just go read the book!
So we had a pretty good week. We got a full week of school in, Carl went to work all week (Thank you warm weather), the taxes got done, and we are all healthy. We have lots of blessings to be thankful for!

Much Love,
Beth

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends! Today I'm linking up with  Andrea  and  Erika  for another Friday favorites. And here they are in no particular order: Last week our preacher told us that he had a surprise for us next week.  I had honestly forgotten about it until Carl mentioned at lunch on Sunday.  Trey said he knew what it was, but he wasn't telling.  It still didn't occur to me what it could be until we arrived at church on Sunday night, and I saw that Trey had a notebook along with his Bible sitting next to him on our pew.  It was him. Trey was the surprise.  He gave a short devotion before our Business Meeting.  He did well, considering it was his first time.  He said the congregation was a lot scarier when you are the one being stared at! This is a big deal because about 7 months ago he realized that he needed Jesus as his Savior.  And that came after about 7 months of me worrying about him, while he was trying to stretch hi...

Friday Favorites

It's been a hot minute since I've linked up with  Andrea  and  Erika  for a Friday Favorites! This is me trying to get back into my blogging groove :) I came across this little dress last year when we moved, and I knew it would be fit Wrenley this summer! It was Makena's circa 2004.  I just love it when a plan comes together.  A favorite for sure! Look at those babies. Twenty years has flown by. Miss Wrenley Beth. She doesn't look a thing like her momma, but definitely has Aunt Makena's sass! Hopefully as her hair grows, she will get Carlie's curls. We have been doing as much outdoor activities as possible.  That includes one of my favorite things...fishing! Carl, showing off his big bass. We weren't technically bass fishing, but whatever bites. It'll eat! Of course we have also been going to the river.  Our kids weren't able to go with us, so we just took the jet ski.   It has been raining so the water is a gross brown. I didn't s...
