Friday Favorites

Happy Friday!  I'm linking up with Andrea at Momfessionals for another Friday Favorites.

Here are a few of my favorites from the week:

Three of my favorite people ready for church on Sunday morning.
Carlie was on call, so she and Caleb were unable to come out :(

My Valentine with his gift.
He may not show it, but he was super excited to finally get it!

My big boy.

Boone turned 1 year old on Valentine's Day. He weighs 95lbs. and is almost taller than me when he stands on his back legs (I only wanted a small dog). He currently loves playing outside, treats, chips and dip, cheese, squeaky toys (even though he eats them in about 2 minutes), balls, eating Q-tips, and chasing the cat. He is still pretty easy-going but has recently started trying to go across the road when our neighbor is outside, so we are looking into an invisible fence/collar system.  If you have any recommendations, please let me know!

My sweet grand baby.
I cannot wait to reveal to your parents (and everyone else) what you are!
This has been the hardest secret that I have ever had to keep.

This is actually from last weekend, but since I never got around to blogging I'll post it now.

We have had so many good times around the old fire ring.  Our kids were pretty young when we started having bonfires.  Of course, back in those days we didn't stay out very late.  They would ride the ATV's, swing on the tree swing, jump on the trampoline, play guitars, and even play DJ. We have roasted unnumerable hot dogs and s'mores, and we have gradually stayed out later and later. So many things have changed over the years, but we have made so many good, family memories out there.

Trey's Valentine's present.  He was super happy!!

My favorite part about having chickens is getting eggs!
They have really been working for us on this day I washed 48 eggs.
I just love seeing all of the different sizes and colors.

That pretty much wraps up my favorites for this week. We have a pretty busy weekend coming up and I cannot wait to share.  You can definitely look for a weekend recap on Monday!
Hope you all have a great weekend!

Much Love,
Beth

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends! Today I'm linking up with  Andrea  and  Erika  for another Friday favorites. And here they are in no particular order: Last week our preacher told us that he had a surprise for us next week.  I had honestly forgotten about it until Carl mentioned at lunch on Sunday.  Trey said he knew what it was, but he wasn't telling.  It still didn't occur to me what it could be until we arrived at church on Sunday night, and I saw that Trey had a notebook along with his Bible sitting next to him on our pew.  It was him. Trey was the surprise.  He gave a short devotion before our Business Meeting.  He did well, considering it was his first time.  He said the congregation was a lot scarier when you are the one being stared at! This is a big deal because about 7 months ago he realized that he needed Jesus as his Savior.  And that came after about 7 months of me worrying about him, while he was trying to stretch hi...

Friday Favorites

It's been a hot minute since I've linked up with  Andrea  and  Erika  for a Friday Favorites! This is me trying to get back into my blogging groove :) I came across this little dress last year when we moved, and I knew it would be fit Wrenley this summer! It was Makena's circa 2004.  I just love it when a plan comes together.  A favorite for sure! Look at those babies. Twenty years has flown by. Miss Wrenley Beth. She doesn't look a thing like her momma, but definitely has Aunt Makena's sass! Hopefully as her hair grows, she will get Carlie's curls. We have been doing as much outdoor activities as possible.  That includes one of my favorite things...fishing! Carl, showing off his big bass. We weren't technically bass fishing, but whatever bites. It'll eat! Of course we have also been going to the river.  Our kids weren't able to go with us, so we just took the jet ski.   It has been raining so the water is a gross brown. I didn't s...
