Weekend Recap: Gender Reveal Edition

Happy President's Day! Sounds better than happy Monday😀 We had a crazy and chaotic weekend, but it was also such a fun weekend.

He or She?  What will it bee?!

Sisterly love

Caleb and his big sister, Whitney.

Caleb's dad and Carl getting ready to shoot the target that reveals the gender!

IT'S A GIRL!!!!

They were both happy :)

But especially Carlie!

We can't wait to hold and love on you, Wrenley Elizabeth!

Aunt Kena is so happy to get a little niece.

Carl and I haven't come up with our grandparent names yet.
I'm still wrapping my head around I am old enough to be a grandma!

Caleb and Carlie with his parents, grandpa's and sister.
Wrenley will be so loved.

Nanny and Pop with the parents-to-be.

We were also happy that Nana and Papaw TR could be there to celebrate.

And great and Jamie and Uncle Tim

All *5* of my babies in one picture.

Nana and Papaw TR brought the baby a gift.

And Aunt Whtiney got her a book :)

Whew! I am so glad that I don't have to keep that secret anymore.  I mean, do you know how many times I have had to talk myself out of saying something about pink in reference the baby?  I have "almost" told about 10 people including Carlie!  I initially thought boy, just because I secretly wanted a girl.
We are thankful for this baby and pray that she arrives healthy, and that Carlie stays healthy.

Much Love,
Beth

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends! Today I'm linking up with  Andrea  and  Erika  for another Friday favorites. And here they are in no particular order: Last week our preacher told us that he had a surprise for us next week.  I had honestly forgotten about it until Carl mentioned at lunch on Sunday.  Trey said he knew what it was, but he wasn't telling.  It still didn't occur to me what it could be until we arrived at church on Sunday night, and I saw that Trey had a notebook along with his Bible sitting next to him on our pew.  It was him. Trey was the surprise.  He gave a short devotion before our Business Meeting.  He did well, considering it was his first time.  He said the congregation was a lot scarier when you are the one being stared at! This is a big deal because about 7 months ago he realized that he needed Jesus as his Savior.  And that came after about 7 months of me worrying about him, while he was trying to stretch hi...

Friday Favorites

It's been a hot minute since I've linked up with  Andrea  and  Erika  for a Friday Favorites! This is me trying to get back into my blogging groove :) I came across this little dress last year when we moved, and I knew it would be fit Wrenley this summer! It was Makena's circa 2004.  I just love it when a plan comes together.  A favorite for sure! Look at those babies. Twenty years has flown by. Miss Wrenley Beth. She doesn't look a thing like her momma, but definitely has Aunt Makena's sass! Hopefully as her hair grows, she will get Carlie's curls. We have been doing as much outdoor activities as possible.  That includes one of my favorite things...fishing! Carl, showing off his big bass. We weren't technically bass fishing, but whatever bites. It'll eat! Of course we have also been going to the river.  Our kids weren't able to go with us, so we just took the jet ski.   It has been raining so the water is a gross brown. I didn't s...
