Field Trips!

My first field trip of the year was to Pinnacle Mountain with both Carlie and Makena's classes. We had a good time, but Carlie was sick and didn't really feel like being there. If you'll notice there is not one single picture of her on this trip. Along with being sick, she has been going through some stuff. I'll touch more on that  in another post....fun stuff, let me tell ya. Makena had a great time! Next, I went with Trey's class to the Arkansas Post. We had fun. It was nice to have some one on one time with my boy! Me with my Makena   Makena and Hope   Makena and Jared ruled the playground.   You can take the boy out of the country....but Aiden still likes to climb trees!   Trey and Braden at Arkansas Post.   Trace wanted in the picture too.   The group listening to our corny Ranger!   Me and T-Man   Trey with the cannon.  Trey became a...

Our Weekend in Memphis

We headed to Memphis, TN for the weekend of Carlie's Spring Celebration. She wanted us to come,  we were not formally invited so we got a room at the next door hotel and I was able to be there to take pictures and to be close in case she needed me! That was her idea, not mine!! I will post later on Spring Celebration and the drama surrounding it, but for now, here are a few pictures: We had to eat at Joe's Crab Shack while Carlie was out with her friends.     My love   He loves him some crab!   In the mall....Makena wouldn't ride!   Makena and Trey trying out the beds in Sears.   After we picked Carlie up, we went to Bass Pro   It is pretty neat inside.   Trey had to try his hand at "shooting"   Carl and Makena were checking out new bows.   Carl and the kids on top of the pyramid.   Me and my babies.   Much Love, Beth...

Fun Stuff!!

The top thing on this post should be the fact that Carlie Erin passed her drivers test :) We are both super excited and VERY relieved. We have also been enjoying a little yard baseball. Trey is getting much better at catching and Makena is getting better at batting. Carlie likes to pitch but likes to tan more than anything! We still have three of the puppies, which we have casually named "The Three Stooges"! We are getting ready to wrap Discovery up soon. Trey and Blaine get along fairly well. Trey takes up for him when others make fun of him for being different. It makes me very proud. We have also been working on planting flowers and making things look a little nicer around here. Another big thing that happened was that Trey got allergy and asthma tested. He is allergic to dust and dust mites! I have to wash his sheets in hot water every week, we bought an air purifier, he had to put the majority of his stuffed animals away....he isn't supposed to be around cleani...

#AYC 2016

Carl and I along with a few other sponsors and our Pastor took our youth group to the Arkansas Youth Conference in Little Rock. It was a fun weekend filled with lots of memories. We had a girl that went with us (she just started coming to Discovery on Wednesday nights) accept Jesus as her Savior! That was definitely a highlight!!  This was the first year for Trey to go and the first year for Carlie to go and stay the night. Of course Makena was there...she LOVES AYC! We ate at the Flying Fish before the conference started. Carlie noticed that left her purse at the restaurant about 2 hours later and so Carl and I went back to get it. We heard an awesome message that night and the music was pretty good too. I will admit that I had to keep earplugs in...does that officially make me old?! Here are a few pictures from our trip: Makena, Megan and Olivia at Flying Fish before the conference started.   Trey with a statue that he thought was cool!   We were ...

The Rest of Spring Break

This was a pretty laid back Spring Break. The weather wasn't all that warm and when it was, the wind was so strong it could blow you over!  My sister and her kids were here for the whole Spring Break so Trey had a playmate for the week....Noah David, his best friend. One day my sister took Trey, Noah, and Ellie Kate walking down to the river. When he came back, he proudly brought these flowers to me :) I left them in the car for a little while and was really surprised that after I put them in water, they came back out and even had a couple of buds. That boy knows how to make his momma happy:)   One day it was almost nice enough to sit on the front porch for a little while...about 10 minutes.   Trey and Noah at their bonfire   So pretty! Noah loves Miss Kitty   Me and the girls at the hot tub.  Makena didn't want to get in, but I told her she had to take a picture with us anyway. I think they were having fun! ...

Easter Sunday 2016

We had a very nice Easter. We went to church then went to eat with my family at Grammy and Papa's  (actually actually the Community Center). We had a yummy lunch, visited with family that I haven't seen since Christmas, and then the kids went egg hunting (Trey was the only one of my kids that still goes, and this might have been his last year). We didn't have night church so we just relaxed the rest of the day. It was a beautiful day to celebrate the resurrection of our Savior! My three bunnies!  Aunt Becky (T's SS teacher) with Noah and Trey.  I have no idea where Skylare and Elijah were at!   Mrs. Ruby with her class. Poor Nick has to be the only boy since Dalton rarely comes!   My mom with her little kids...better her than me :)   Having fun after church with Lukas and Hadlee.   Papa and Makena Faith.   Carlie had the fun job of watching the boys!!  Check...
