Happy Friday, friends! Hope this Friday finds you all somewhere warm! This week I am again linking up with Andrea and Erika for another Friday Favorites.
- Slow Mornings (Even if they're short) This week reminded me that a slow moment matters just as much a slow morning. Five quiet minutes before the house wakes up. One uninterrupted cup of coffee. A deep breath before the day begins. Slowness doesn't have to be long-it just has to be intentional.
2. Comfort Food That Feels Like Home
There's nothing fancy about comfort food, and that's the beauty of it. Warm meals, familiar flavors, and recipes you don't have to think too hard about. This week's favorite? Something simple and filling, and made with what we already had. Food that nourishes more than just the body.
3. A Verse That Stuck with Me
Some weeks, a single line of Scripture settles into your heart and refuses to leave. Not loud. Not flashy. Just steady truth that meets you right where you are. I've been carrying it with me through the mundane moments-- and that's often where faith grows best.
4. Fresh Air Therapy
A walk outside, standing in the yard, watching the sky change colors-- fresh air has a way of
resetting everything. No agenda. No productivity. Just noticing creation and remembering that the world keeps turning, no matter what is happening in my life.
5. Small Wins
Not the big, Instagram worthy wins. The quiet ones like finally crossing off a task off the list, handling a hard conversation with grace, or choosing to rest instead of pushing through. The moments always count as favorites.
6. The Anticipation of the Weekend
Friday isn't just about what's behind us--it's about what's ahead. Rest. Family time. A slower pace. Even if the weekend is full of uncertain weather, there can be comfort in knowing that the rhythm is changing.
