Macks Fall Festival 2011

Jacob and Troy Landry at Macks Prairie Wings in Stuttgart :)
They were there from 10-3 today and we didn't get to meet them because we went to church before going to Macks, but it was okay because we got a pretty good picture of them :)  The kids had a good time playing games, rock climbing, and getting free stuff.  It was SUPER crowded.  Even people that come every year said that it was more crowded than ever.  Here are some of the pictures that I took there.  Some of them are poor quality due to my phone.

Trey loved the bouncy slide!

Carlie, climbing the rock wall
Makena tried, bless her heart, but this was as far up as she got.
Trey even got to climb.  It looked like a lot of fun!
I almost wanted to try it, except that all the adults were standing around watching
and I didn't want to be the one who couldn't get off the ground.

They had targets for the kids to shoot at.  He was
trying to shoot a bear.  He missed (twice)!
Now it was Carlie's turn!
Makena was the last in line, and sadly none of them made the arrow stick!
It was pretty fun, if you don't mind standing in line for EVERYTHING!

This was a great weekend filled with LOTS of family time, which is my favorite.  I hope that my kids are always close to each other and always take care of each other.

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends! Today I'm linking up with  Andrea  and  Erika  for another Friday favorites. And here they are in no particular order: Last week our preacher told us that he had a surprise for us next week.  I had honestly forgotten about it until Carl mentioned at lunch on Sunday.  Trey said he knew what it was, but he wasn't telling.  It still didn't occur to me what it could be until we arrived at church on Sunday night, and I saw that Trey had a notebook along with his Bible sitting next to him on our pew.  It was him. Trey was the surprise.  He gave a short devotion before our Business Meeting.  He did well, considering it was his first time.  He said the congregation was a lot scarier when you are the one being stared at! This is a big deal because about 7 months ago he realized that he needed Jesus as his Savior.  And that came after about 7 months of me worrying about him, while he was trying to stretch hi...

Friday Favorites

It's been a hot minute since I've linked up with  Andrea  and  Erika  for a Friday Favorites! This is me trying to get back into my blogging groove :) I came across this little dress last year when we moved, and I knew it would be fit Wrenley this summer! It was Makena's circa 2004.  I just love it when a plan comes together.  A favorite for sure! Look at those babies. Twenty years has flown by. Miss Wrenley Beth. She doesn't look a thing like her momma, but definitely has Aunt Makena's sass! Hopefully as her hair grows, she will get Carlie's curls. We have been doing as much outdoor activities as possible.  That includes one of my favorite things...fishing! Carl, showing off his big bass. We weren't technically bass fishing, but whatever bites. It'll eat! Of course we have also been going to the river.  Our kids weren't able to go with us, so we just took the jet ski.   It has been raining so the water is a gross brown. I didn't s...
