Pee Wee Basketball Game 1

the Refs, oh and Makena's head was in there too :)

As you can see we were not very evenly matched!
About time for tip-off

Thursday night was our first basketball game of the pee-wee season.  The girls have been practicing for a while and due to some scheduling difficulties we didn't have ANY games scheduled, which left us to play with the City League teams in town :(  It is ideal for us as a Christian School to play another Christian School, but we'll just have to make the best of it!  In City League ball  you just never know what you're gonna get (attitudes, roughness, safety, etc.)  but we're just happy to have some games to play at this point!
They lost, but still had a great time and hopefully learned a lot for out games coming up this week!

This is going to be one of those CRAZY BUSY weeks....poor Carl has something every night this week and Monday is the only day for the rest of us to get some rest in!  We have games Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday; church on Wednesday, and a birthday party in Morrilton on Saturday!!  It makes my head spin just thinking about it!

We are just going to try and enjoy this long weekend while we can :)

Three Doses of Happiness

Laundry piled up, dishes in the sink, phone buzzing with many emails, toys all over the house.......sounds like an absolute perfect time to go outside and relax with my kiddos! Today has been a VERY warm day.  It probably would be more enjoyable if we didn't know that it would more than likely storm tonight!  Carlie didn't go to school today because she was up a lot last night with stomach issues.  She never vomited, but she was very nauseated and has had stomach cramps.  She hasn't felt bad all day, just off and one.  We might be going to the doctor tomorrow p.m. because Sunday night I noticed that she has a little bulge above her belly button, I wasn't concerned about it (really) until her stomach started hurting and she said that it hurt to tough.  Maybe it's nothing, but people keep mentioning hernia to me.  Please pray that she feels better soon.  Also tomorrow is the big day....academic advising.  I remember the very first time I was advised (somewhere a
