Christmas Morning With Nanny and Pop

Carlie got a game from the Simpson's

Makena got a new purple shirt....I wonder if she likes purple or something!

T got his own basketball
Never too old for some toys!

Oh, yea...Carlie got Just Dance 2014
Our New Year's Eve just got a little more interesting!

A bathtub target gun!

Trey and Noah with their flip hats....and they were photo-bombed by Eli!

Both of the girls got Vera Bradley comforters from my parents.
I'm so excited to see them on!

Carlie waiting for her stocking goodies

Trey got Battleship and he LOVES it.
In fact he is getting on our nerves wanting to play it all the time!

Makena with her piano picture.  She wants to hang it above her piano, which is fine with me because it matches my living room!

He really liked his new Under Armour outfit!

This is all she wanted to do...mess with her laptop!

Nanny finally got to open her presents

Pop with his Thermal Cell.  He is so silly!

Carl and Pop fixing breakfast for our big bunch :)

I almost forgot to post this: Trey also really liked his flat screen from Nanny and Pop!

Wow, to be perfectly honest there are TONS more pictures that I could have posted, I only picked the highlights :)  It was such a great day.  We came home and played with all of our stuff and then went back over to my parents for soup and sandwiches then went down to my Papaw Garrett's house for supper and a quick visit.  It really was a great day.  I really just enjoyed being with my family and seeing them all so happy.

"Suddenly a great company of heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, "Glory to God in the highest." Luke 2:13-14

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends! Today I'm linking up with  Andrea  and  Erika  for another Friday favorites. And here they are in no particular order: Last week our preacher told us that he had a surprise for us next week.  I had honestly forgotten about it until Carl mentioned at lunch on Sunday.  Trey said he knew what it was, but he wasn't telling.  It still didn't occur to me what it could be until we arrived at church on Sunday night, and I saw that Trey had a notebook along with his Bible sitting next to him on our pew.  It was him. Trey was the surprise.  He gave a short devotion before our Business Meeting.  He did well, considering it was his first time.  He said the congregation was a lot scarier when you are the one being stared at! This is a big deal because about 7 months ago he realized that he needed Jesus as his Savior.  And that came after about 7 months of me worrying about him, while he was trying to stretch hi...

Friday Favorites

This is me trying to get back into my blogging groove :) I came across this little dress last year when we moved, and I knew it would be fit Wrenley this summer! It was Makena's circa 2004.  I just love it when a plan comes together.  A favorite for sure! Look at those babies. Twenty years has flown by. Miss Wrenley Beth. She doesn't look a thing like her momma, but definitely has Aunt Makena's sass! Hopefully as her hair grows, she will get Carlie's curls. We have been doing as much outdoor activities as possible.  That includes one of my favorite things...fishing! Carl, showing off his big bass. We weren't technically bass fishing, but whatever bites. It'll eat! Of course we have also been going to the river.  Our kids weren't able to go with us, so we just took the jet ski.   It has been raining so the water is a gross brown. I didn't s...
