We are thouroughly enjoying our winter break so far. Saturday was a pretty restful day. We just kinda hung out and did our own things. Carl took Trey hunting this morning and Makena hunting in the afternoon. In between we fixed deer meat for my parents, piddled around outside, and cleaned. You can take a guess for yourself as to who did which of those jobs :)
Anyway, we've had it planned to have a bonfire for NYE, but decided that we would go ahead and have one tonight too, in case the weather didn't cooperate Tuesday night. The kids had a lot of fun and decided that me and Carl needed to get in on some silly pictures!

It was a fun silly night. We didn't even stay out late because it is a Saturday and we all had to be bathed and put in bed early enough to wake up and go to church! In fact, I think we were all in by 9:30! I'm sure if we are able, NYE will be a little different. We are already working on our plans, we just have to go buy some fireworks Monday!
