On purpose we don't do the "traditional" Easter stuff at our house on Easter Day. We don't do the"Easter Bunny" or hide eggs that morning before church. I just feel like the emphasis on Easter morning should be on the Resurrection of our Lord, not the Easter Bunny, eggs, candy, etc. Oh, and by the way, I have already realized that Christmas is on a Sunday this year, and we just might change our routine a little, because holiday or not, it's still God's day. All that info was for free...you don't have to pay a dime :) So, we did all our Easter stuff on Saturday, with the exception of the big Easter dinner at Grammy and Papa's. This year was a little different because we went to the community center to have it since there are just so many of us now. Almost all the cousins have at least one kid (the majority of us have 3 each!), so it was just easier on everyone to have it there. It was a little sad, but the kids loved having a big play...
