Gone Fishin'

Friday afternoon Carl got off early so we decided to take the kids out to the farm fishing.  They love it, and take it very seriously!!
Carl and Trey fishing.  Have you ever heard of fishing on
top of a boat?!  It's an old one that someone left there,
but it does make for a goofy looking picture!

Carlie did this all by herself, and she was so proud!

Mrs. Cool even wore her lucky fishing hat, so you can imagine
how upset she was when Carlie got a fish and she didn't!!

Trey looks like he's really reeling one in, but it was just moss!!

We didn't get a lot of fish, but we had fun anyway!!

How fun! We've got to take Lydia fishing. She got a Dora fishing pole, Dora life jacket, princess tackle box and net for her birthday! Not sure how long she will last ... or she may end up jumping in the water, but we are going to try!

my kids love it, but Makena is afraid of us all being in the fishing boat, so when all 5 of us go we usually fish off the bank!

Three Doses of Happiness

Laundry piled up, dishes in the sink, phone buzzing with many emails, toys all over the house.......sounds like an absolute perfect time to go outside and relax with my kiddos! Today has been a VERY warm day.  It probably would be more enjoyable if we didn't know that it would more than likely storm tonight!  Carlie didn't go to school today because she was up a lot last night with stomach issues.  She never vomited, but she was very nauseated and has had stomach cramps.  She hasn't felt bad all day, just off and one.  We might be going to the doctor tomorrow p.m. because Sunday night I noticed that she has a little bulge above her belly button, I wasn't concerned about it (really) until her stomach started hurting and she said that it hurt to tough.  Maybe it's nothing, but people keep mentioning hernia to me.  Please pray that she feels better soon.  Also tomorrow is the big day....academic advising.  I remember the very first time I was advised (somewhere a
