In Need of Daddy Time

Carl has been pretty busy at work lately leaving poor Trey with a house full of girls, which is partly why he enjoyed having Noah and Eli around over the weekend.  Sunday was a beautiful day, but we live a rural area and the gnats have been awful!  The girls and I went walking Sunday afternoon and came back with gnats all in our hair....I think I swallowed about 100 and sucked another 50 in through my nose...you get the picture!  Anyway, back to my point; Trey was really in need of some Daddy time.  You know it's pretty bad when you hear him in the backseat of the car singing "Ordinary Girl" by Hannah Montana or watching Tinker Belle!!  Now, don't get me wrong he loves to play with his cars, trucks, and tractors and talking of gross boy things.  Maybe having sisters and being aware of "girly" things will make him well-rounded (?), I just find it a little disturbing sometimes :)  So when Carl got home early yesterday (thank you rain!!), they went outside and started tearing down the old tractor.  I think something is wrong with it....I'm just a little worried it might not ever find it's way back together!!  Trey was talking his ear off (wonder where he gets that?!) and telling him what he thought was wrong with it.  I think it did them both some good :)
Here are my two measly pictures:

Three Doses of Happiness

Laundry piled up, dishes in the sink, phone buzzing with many emails, toys all over the house.......sounds like an absolute perfect time to go outside and relax with my kiddos! Today has been a VERY warm day.  It probably would be more enjoyable if we didn't know that it would more than likely storm tonight!  Carlie didn't go to school today because she was up a lot last night with stomach issues.  She never vomited, but she was very nauseated and has had stomach cramps.  She hasn't felt bad all day, just off and one.  We might be going to the doctor tomorrow p.m. because Sunday night I noticed that she has a little bulge above her belly button, I wasn't concerned about it (really) until her stomach started hurting and she said that it hurt to tough.  Maybe it's nothing, but people keep mentioning hernia to me.  Please pray that she feels better soon.  Also tomorrow is the big day....academic advising.  I remember the very first time I was advised (somewhere a
